SchedulesCardholder Access
Cardholders added to Controlsoft Pro are granted unrestricted timed access. This means each new cardholder will be granted access at each reader (proximity
point) 24/7.
Schedules are easier to implement when cardholders have been granted access
permissions using Groups as this applies the schedule to each cardholder who
belongs to the Group.
To create a restricted access Schedule open the Schedule Manager under
Management > Schedule and click on the red + to add a new Schedule.Enter a descriptive name for the Schedule and ensure the Schedule type is set to
Period and press Enter.
Checking the Create Offline box opens a different Schedule screen, this Schedule
will be downloaded to the ACUs memory, therefore in the event of a PC or Network
failure the ACU will still restrict access to card holders.
The offline Schedules are not as versatile as the online period schedules.
Click on the red + button at the bottom and enter Monday and press accept.
Using the start and end time boxes enter the times the cardholders WILL be granted
access.
Press Accept once complete, and create the times for the rest of the week.
