Coretta was born in Marion, Alabama, 1927 on April 27.

She was one of the first African American to go to that college

She got a scholarship.

Coretta went to a music industry after college. It’s in New England.

It is called the Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Coretta met Martin Luther King Jr. in Montgomery, Alabama.

Martin was a pastor before he was a civil rights leader.

She worked by his side.

Later on in their life , they got married.

They had four children named Yolanda, Martin III, Dexter , and Bernice.

She never knew she would marry a civil rights leader.

James Earl Ray killed Martin Luther king.

Martin was in Memphis.
