2. Photo-absorption spectroscopy of polyatomic molecules in the VUV region using 6.65 m

vacuum ultraviolet spectrometer with synchrotron radiation source (at HRVUV BL-1,

INDUS-I, RRCAT, Indore, India).

3. Instrumentation: FITR spectrometer (Bruker Tensor 37), UV-Vis-NIR

spectrophotometer with reflectance accessory and integrating sphere (Lamda 950, Perkin

Elmer), ME5000 Echelle spectrograph (Andor's Mechelle) equipped with ICCD camera

(iStar, Andor), Nd:YAG laser (1064nm, 532nm, 355nm) with power up to 850 mJ, 0.5

meter triple grating monochromator equipped with PMT (Acton SP2500), USB4000

spectrometer (Ocean Optics), classical prism and grating spectrographs at Spectroscopy
