Description:
The Data Center is nothing but house of storage servers which protects and stores the data. In BSNL, many of us are aware of Data center (DC) as our own billing centers. But the DC is more than this. It is a separate business segment and it is most happening & emerging market in IT enabled services. Project Cost: 1600 crore. Project vendor – HCL, TCS, Wipro Sub vendor- HP, SUN, EMC, Nortel, Orange, BARCO, Symantec
Key responsibilities handled:
Working as Network administrator responsible for all network related activities in data centre. Interaction with client and maintaining the network as per there need. Integrating the existing network of BSNL Network to CDR network. Monitoring the exchange connectivity status to Chandigarh Data Centre NOC via NNM tool. Implementation of change request related to Network changes. Executing tasks defined in the project plan and implementing changes in accordance with the change management plan. Ensured the smooth operation of Network.
