May 2005/Mar 2007 Mission as Transdev Operation Manager in “Tenerife Tramway Project” (Canary Islands – Spain) Mission as Operations Director, with permanent address at Tenerife. Leading a 67 collaborators team, 12 km line, 21 stations and 20 Alstom cars. Main works developed:

Elaborating, validating and organizing the operation proposal implementation of futures tramway system, covering documentation and procedures, human resources and materials needed. Creation of the tramway operating company.

Creating and managing the operation’s budget Project team support, providing the operator’s point of view on the implementation of operation

support systems (signalization, SAE, SCADA, etc), rolling stock, catenaries, track and stations. Creating and managing the Operation budget. Member of the “Groupe Métier d’Exploitation” at Transdev France. On the job training of the future network operations director charged off the on going operation.

Sep 2003/Apr 2005 Operation Manager in Oporto Tramway Project

Operations Director at Transdev - the operator of the Normetro Consortium (charged of the design, project, construction and operation of Oporto’s tram) witch contained BBRail, Bombardier LRV and SIG, Somague, Soares da Costa and Transdev. Network, at the time, with 21 km, 30 stations and 42 Bombardier Eurotram cars. Main works:

Leading the operation team witch includes, drivers and line managers, dispatchers and PA operators and PCC managers, station agents and manager, planning team, drivers trainer and operations manager in a total amount of 140 persons.

Creating and managing the operation’s budget Documents and procedures process elaboration for two new lines that were inaugurated on

May04 and Mars05 in a total amount of 11 new km, 9 stations using a total of 42 tramways. Supporting the project team providing operators point of view on the enlarging of the several

systems of the network as well as on the retrofitting of rolling stock for example on the ATP system, on infrastructures of track, catenaries and stations.

Interface with commercial and marketing function, executing the commercial and operation programs, communication technical supports and public announcements. Cars advertising supports End users claim management. Ticketing management

ISO 14001 and OSHAS Standards process certification participation. 3. ABB - Asea Brown Boveri S.A. (Portugal)

Feb 2002/Aug2003 Maintenance Outsourcings Project Manager on the biggest world wide ABB project of pulp & paper mills. Those contracts (Portucel Cacia, Soporcel and Portucel Setúbal mills) with an overall turnover of 15M€/y, with a team of 270 employees, 70 of them belonging to ABB and the others to third party suppliers.
