Darul Ihsan Bursary Fund (DIBF) – 2021
Assalamu Alaikum
Bursary applications for the ‘Darul Ihsan Bursary Fund’ (DIBF) for the
2021 year will open on December 01 2020, Insha Allah.
Application forms will be available from our offices in Overport, Sea Cow
Lake and Phoenix from December 01 2020 onwards, Insha Allah.
Further information may be obtained from the Application Form.
Application must be completed in full and correctly
Applicants living outside the greater Durban region, may obtain the
Application form from our website at www.darulihsan.com
Please Note:
* The funds are rendered in Zakat funds only, hence, eligibility/qualification
of all applicants would apply.
* The ‘DIBF’ offers only partial bursaries/financial assistance towards high
school (Muslim schools - Grade 8 to 12 only) and tertiary institutions –
including distant learning institutions.
* Bursaries are considered for South African nationals and
others/foreigners studying in South Africa only.
* Except for high school, tertiary education bursaries for females are only
offered for correspondence/distant learning institutions/courses.
• For public school pupils (all Grades) application should be made to our
“School Fees” fund.
IMPORTANT:
Applicants must ensure that all their previous years’ fees/outstanding
fees are settled before they apply to DIBF.
Bursaries are not offered to Honours, Masters and PHD students.
Grade 8 to 12 applicants at private schools and/or home education
should fill in a ‘School Fees’ application form.
Letters of recommendation from the Imaam, community member and
Islamic institution must include the applicant’s full name, dated,
signed and addressed to Darul Ihsan.
