May 15, 2015 Dear Sir or Madam: Please accept this letter in strong support of Diane Chamberlain. I have known Diane through her work at Dartmouth over the past eight years and give her my strong support. I first met Diane when she was an administrative assistant at the Dartmouth Center for Advancement of Learning (DCAL). She was kind, collegial, and friendly. She always had a smile on her face for those who entered the offices and made me feel welcome as an outsider to DCAL. This was when I first learned of her passion of flying gliders and it has become a common topic for us to chat about when we would meet. Diane then went on to work for the Office of Community-based Education and Research and the Office of Clinical Education at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She is excellent at organizing meetings and gatherings. One of her primary duties was maintaining the Community Preceptor Education Board of Directors. This Board meets quarterly and is an important venue for community faculty to interact with the medical school. She did an excellent job of preparing agendas, organizing meetings, ordering refreshments, and taking minutes. Again, her responsiveness to board members was a true asset as they recognized her work and appreciated her efforts. I was disappointed that we were not able to keep her here on our staff but am confident that she can do very good work in a number of different employment situations. Dear Sir or Madam:

Please accept this letter in strong support of Diane Chamberlain.
