Listed below are noteworthy road works, which the Traffic and Road Safety Section has been informed of. Details are supplied as per information received by 16:00 hrs on the preceding Thursday. Emergency road works cannot be forecast.

ROAD CLOSURES

# Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993Temporary Closure of Killiney Hill RoadDún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Killiney Hill Road to through traffic from Monday, 14th March 2016 to Friday, 1st April 2016from junction of Military Road to Cenacle Grove.

The purpose of the closure is to carry out trenching and ducting works on behalf of the ESB to bring power to a new housing development.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS

» Harold’s Grange Road, Rathfarnham (at Genazzano & Villa Maria) ***Work to complete Foul & Surface Water Connections will begin on Harold’s Grange Road near Pine Valley Park cul-de-sac on Monday, 14th March until Friday, 22nd April 2016.

A Stop/Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. (Monday to Friday)

# Goatstown Road / Roebuck Road Junction, Goatstown ***Permanent reinstatement of the road surfacing will begin on Goatstown Road between the Roebuck Road and Larchfield Road junctions on Monday, 21st March 2016 until Saturday, 2nd April 2016, between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Stop/Go Traffic Management will be in operation thoughout the planned duration of these works.

» Tivoli Road, Dun Laoghaire **

Electrical ducting work will take place on Tivoli Road between the junction of Mulgrave Terrace and Eglinton Park between Tuesday 29th March 2016 to Friday 1st April inclusive between 10.00 – 16.00 hours.

A Stop/Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Allen Park Road and Drive, Stillorgan **Trial holes and GPR works will take place from Monday, 14th March 2016 until Saturday 2nd April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Myrtle Grove, Stillorgan *Trial holes and GPR works will take place from Monday, 14th March 2016 until Saturday 2nd April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Tivoli Terrace South (GPR Survey)** GPR works will take place from Wednesday, 30th March 2016 until Friday, 1st April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Annavill Avenue (GPR Survey)** GPR works will take place from Thursday, 31th March 2016 until Friday, 1st April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Hillside / Dalkey Park**

Ground Investigation works will take place from Tuesday, 29th March 2016 until Friday, 1st April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

# Mounttown Road Lower **

Minor footpath and gully repairs works will continue on Mounttown from Tuesday 29th March 2016 until Friday, 1st April 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Fairlawns / Saval Park Road (Part of) (Topographical Survey)** Topographical Survey works will take place from Tuesday, 29th March 2016 until Friday, 1st April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Desmond Avenue (Topographical Survey)** Topographical Survey works will take place from Tuesday, 29th March 2016 until Friday, 1st April 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

» Commons Road (GPR Survey)**

GPR works will take place from Monday, 21st March 2016 until Friday, 25th March 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

# Mounttown Road Lower **Minor footpath and gully repairs works will take place from Monday 21st March 2016 until Friday, 25th March 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

Frascati Road, Blackrock **Traffic management will be in place intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00hrs in order to facilitate access to the new housing site located near the junction with Carysfort Avenue.

Leopardstown Road R113 ***Works are nearing completion and the junction should be fully opened by the end of the week – Friday 25th March. In the meantime the temporary arrangements for pedestrians and cyclists will remain in place.

Loughlinstown Drive, Loughlinstown **The Road Safety Improvements Scheme at Loughlinstown Drive is on site from Monday, 8th

February 2016 for approximately six weeks.Page 3 of 4

Every attempt will be made to keep disruption at a minimum throughout the duration of the works, and a Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.

The use of Stop / Go Traffic Management will be intermittently required throughout the works.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on:

1. Ballinteer Avenue2. Dublin Road, Shankill3. Shanganagh Road 4. Killiney Hill Road5. Crofton Road

These works will continue until Friday 29 th April 2016 .

A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.

Irish Water *Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.
