PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993Temporary Closure of Brighton Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18
Castlethorn Construction has lodged an application with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for the temporary closure of Brighton Road, to through traffic, from the junction with Westminster Road to the junction with Claremont Road from:Monday, 13th June 2016 to Friday, 2nd September 2016.
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the laying of a new sewer pipe from the entrance to the Hollybrook Apartments south for a distance of approximately 150 metres to service a new housing development along Brighton Road.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion route will be via Westminster Road, Hainault Road, Claremont Road and vice versa.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Any interested party may lodge an objection, in writing, with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council or via e-mail to [email protected] not later than noon on Wednesday, 1st June 2016.

Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993Temporary Closure of Main Street, Dundrum
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is proposing to close Main Street, Dundrum from the junction with Upper Kilmacud Road to just south of the entrance to the Village Centre Car Park. The closure is to take place from 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. on Sunday 26th June, 2016.
The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate the Dundrum Arts & Cultural Festival.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and all diversions will be signposted. Local access will be maintained at all times.

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 Temporary Closure of Meadow Mount and Section of Meadow Grove, Ballinteer.
Orwell Wheelers has requested the temporary closure of Meadowmount and a section of Meadow Grove, Ballinteer. The closure is to take place from 6.30 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st June, 2016.
The purpose of the proposed closure is to facilitate the Stephen Roche Cycle Race.
Diversion of traffic will be via Barton Road East, Meadow Avenue, Meadow Grove, Willow Road and Beech Lawn and vice versa.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be signposted.
Emergency Access can be provided, if required, during the period of the road closure.
Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire or via email at [email protected] on or before 12 noon on Wednesday 8th June, 2016.
ROAD CLOSURES
Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993Temporary Closure of Lanesville, Monkstown, Co. DublinDún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Lanesville to through traffic from Tuesday 3rd May 2016 to Tuesday 31st May 2016.
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the installation of a foul connection for house No’s 11 to 14 Lanesville, Monkstown, Co. Dublin.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

# Kerrymount Avenue, Foxrock **Installation of Surface Water Sewer for Clonmel Enterprises Ltd.
Works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and last for 4 weeks. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
# Carrickbrennan Road ** Close to junctions (Monkstown Road, Alma Place and Pakenham Road) **
Road patching repair works will commence on Monday, 30th May 2016 until Friday, 10th June 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Taney Road Junction / Stoney Road, Dundrum **Road patching repair works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 until Friday, 3rd June 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Ballycorus Road, Rathmichael (Mine Hill Lane to Brides Glen Road) **Road patching repair works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 until Friday, 3rd June 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
Roseville Terrace, Dundrum Road, Dundrum (at Apache Pizza) **(possible night works)Drainage repair works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 until Friday, 3rd June 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
# Ardglas, Dundrum *Footpath repair works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 until Friday, 3rd June 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

Wolfe Tone Avenue (off Cross Avenue) Dún Laoghaire *Road patching repair works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 until Friday, 3rd June 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.

Leinster Lawns, Clonskeagh *Road patching repair works will commence on Monday, 23rd May 2016 until Friday,3rd June 2016 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.

# Tivoli Road, Dún Laoghaire **Actavo will be carrying out works to facilitate the installation of a pedestrian crossing at Tivoli Road, Dún Laoghaire. Works will continue on Sunday, 29th May 2016 from 09:00 until 17:00 hrs.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
# Glenamuck Road South, Carrickmines **Works on behalf of the ESB will continue on Glenamuck Road South and Golf Lane, Carrickmines until Friday, 10th June 2016.
Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in place between 10:00 and 16:00 hours daily.
Rochestown Avenue ***KN Network Services will be carrying out footpath and bus stop improvement works on Rochestown Avenue from Glenview Estate to the junction with Granitefield. Works will commence on Monday, 16th May 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. and last for 4 weeks. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
# Harold’s Grange Road, Rathfarnham (at Genazzano & Villa Maria) *
Work to complete foul and surface water connections will begin on Harold’s Grange Road near Pine Valley Park cul-de-sac on Monday, 25th April until Friday, 3rd June 2016.
A Stop/Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. (Monday to Friday)
Frascati Road, Blackrock **
Traffic management will be in place intermittently between 10:00 and 16:00hrs in order to facilitate access to the new housing site located near the junction with Carysfort Avenue.

Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works **Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on:
1. Newtownpark Avenue2. Dublin Road, Shankill3. Shanganagh Road 4. Killiney Hill Road5. Crofton Road
These works will continue until Friday, 30th June 2016.
A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required.
Grange Road at St. John’s GAA Club, Ballinteer *Fibre ducting will be placed in the grass margin of the footpath up to Marley Park. The works will commence on Monday, 9th May 2016 until Friday, 3th June 2016 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
>> Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village **
Work will be carried out on the Enniskerry Road in Stepaside Village at the junction with Kilgobbin Road on Saturday 28th May 2016 between 0800hrs – 1400hrs to facilitate ESB repairs. A Stop/Go Traffic Management System will be in operation and parking may be restricted.
Irish Water *Irish Water meter installation works will continue next week.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation.
