Fanatic Maastricht 2007 Fantasy 'Armybuilder'To make it as easy as possible for you to make your armylist and to make it aseasy as possible for us to check them, we ask players to use this file whenmaking and sending in their armylist.

When you send in your armylist using this file and when you bring a print out ofyour armylist that was made with this file to the tournament, then we guarenteethat you will receive the 2 points for bringing an appropriate armylist!

How does it work?Basically it is just a matter of filling in all the choises you made. As you can see onthe right there is a box for each unit on your armylist:

When you use this box to type your armylist Excel will automatically do allcalculations for you. It automatically calculates the cost of the entire unit, half thecost of the unit (convenient when calculating Victory Points after the battle) and inthe top right corner next to the player information Excel calculates the point costof your entire army. However, Excel can only perform these calculations correctlywhen you have entered all points values correctly, so read the followinginstructions carefully:

- First go to the sheet called 'armylist player 1' and fill in the personal and teamdata at the top.- Then fill in the boxes. You can read below how to do this.

- Unit name/Section This is where you fill in the name of the unit, 'Swordsmen'for example. Also fill in to which section this unit belongs to: Hero, Core, Specialor Rare.- Statistics table This is where you fill in the gaming statistics of the models inthe unit. In the boxes saying 'Troop type x'you fill in whose statistics it are. Therecan be more than one line of statistics in one unit, think of horses and their ridersfor example.- Troop type In the white cells under'Troop type'you fill in the models that formthe unit, 'Swordsmen' for example. Under '#'you fill in how many models of thistroop type are in the unit. Under'Pts'you fill in the point cost of an individual

model of the troop type.- Equipment This is where you fill in all the equipment the unit already has andthe equipment that is free. In the case of Swordsmen that would be 'Handweapon, shield and light armour' for example.- Special rules Here you just list all the special rules that apply to the unit. Notethat you only have to list them, not explain them!- Upgrades/ (magic)items Here you fill in all the upgrades, magic items,command models and basically anything that the unit has to pay points for. Under'Upgrade/(magic)items'you fill in the name of the upgrade or item. Under'#'youfill in the amount of upgrades/items you buy for this unit. And under'Pts'you fill inthe point cost of the individual upgrade/item.

Half points and Points Don't fill in anything here!! Excel will do this for you.

- Leave cells that you did not use as they are.- To the right you can see some examples of correctly filled in boxes:

- After you have filled in your armylist you can delete the boxes you did not use ifyou want to. This isn't nessecary. Do this by dragging your mouse over all the

unused boxes and right cliking with your mouse. Select the 'delete' option andthen select the 'entire row' option.- After the first player from your team has made his list, send it to the secondplayer of the team so he can open the sheet 'Armylist player 2' and make his listin there.- Now send the file containing both your lists to us and you wil soon receive ananswer from us!

- For printing purposes you may want to play around a bit with the printer margins(Click on 'print preview' and then on 'margins') to get nice whole boxes on a page.Don't however start messing around with the boxes themself!!!

Note: In case you come across a unit that can't be filled in the boxes for whateverreason, contact us and we will send you a new box.
