Dear Fellow Rotarians,สวัสดีค่ะ มวลมิตรโรแทเรียนที่รัก

The world breaking news about the flood disaster in Thailand that you have heard, have seen and have faced now is making us unable to sit still because the thing that we never thought will reach us has come. The project that the District 3330 is doing to find money to help flood victims now has to change to help the areas that the Rotary clubs are situated. There are many areas that are affected by flood such as Bud-dhamonthol, Nakhonchaisri, Banglane, Suphanburi, Samut-sakorn and more in our district. In this issue of e-news, many of you may not know about the 1 million bottles of Rotary drinking water to flood victims of 2011 that the District 3330 is rallying for money to produce water to donate to the needy. It is glad to know that we have received much help from many of our sister clubs abroad. I have brought you the plan that the district is working on to you to read in our website, wwww.rotary3330.org, in which DGE.Dr.Sanguan Kunaporn had up-dated all the time. Bad news from 3 provinces on the southern border that terrorists had bombed in Naratiwas and Yala in the past were almost unheard of because the news of the flood was more urgent but, however, I would like to ask for the holy spirits to blessed all of you that are facing the flood disaster or living in the 3 provinces to be safe from all danger. Let’s restore the spirit and the country’s condition to be back to normal soon with the mind power of all of you because we, Thai people, will not abandon each other. ความคืบหน้าเรื่องอุทกภัยสถำนกำรณ์น�้ำท่วมในประเทศไทยครั้งนี้ ได้สร้ำงควำมเดือดร้อนและเสียหำยให้กับผู้คนและประเทศชำติร้ำยแรงมำกกว่ำครั้งใดๆในอดีตที่ผ่ำนมำ ช่วงนี้ถือเป็นช่วงเวลำส�ำคัญที่เรำต้องร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันให้ผ่ำนสถำนกำรณ์นี้ไปให้ได้ หลำยฝ่ำยก็ได้ผนึกก�ำลังให้ควำมช่วยเหลือต่ำงๆ อย่ำงเต็มที่ ขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นเรื่องที่น่ำยินดีและประทับใจเป็นอย่ำงยิ่งที่โรแทเรียนในประเทศไทยได้แสดงออกถึงควำมเสียใจและควำมห่วงใยต่อเพื่อนมนุษย์ผู้ประสบภัยครั้งนี้โดยได้ช่วยกันรับบริจำคเงินและเครื่องอุปโภค บริโภคต่ำงๆ และออกเดินทำงไปส่งมอบให้กับผู้ประสบภัยในพื้นที่ต่ำงๆ พร้อมทั้งระดมเงินบริจำคเข้ำในกองทุนช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยภำค3330

จำกกำรส�ำรวจพบว่ำขณะนี้ไม่สำมำรถหำซื้อน�้ำดื่มในกรุงเทพฯได้เพรำะประชำชนแห่ซื้อเพื่อเก็บไว้ใช้บริโภคและโรงงำนที่ผลิตน�้ำดื่มขนำดใหญ่8โรงงำนถูกน�้ำท่วมเป็นส่วนใหญ่เหลือเพียง2โรงที่ยังผลิตได้อยู่ ดังนั้นภำวะน�้ำท่วมและขังในพื้นที่หลำยแห่งของกรุงเทพฯปทุมธำนีและนนทบุรีซึ่งมีแนวโน้มรุนแรงขึ้นอีกทั้งกำรประปำนครหลวงมีปัญหำในกำรผลิตน�้ำที่ได้คุณภำพเหมือนก่อนน�้ำท่วมก็จะยิ่งท�ำให้ประชำชนในพื้นที่ขำดแคลนน�้ำดื่มเป็นอย่ำงยิ่ง

- ROTARY Drinking Water to Thai Flood Victims 2011

The flood situation in Thailand this time had brought about dam-ages to the people and the country more than any time in the past. This is the significant time that we have to stick together to live through this situation. Many organizations had joined in help-ing the best they could while at the same time it should be a good impression that Thai Rotarians had shown the sorrow and care to fellow humans who met this disaster by coming up with projects to receive money and goods and went out to hand-over to the vic-tims in various areas and poured the money into the District 3330 RI’s Disaster Victims Fund.

From the survey, it had been found out the people cannot buy drinking water in Bangkok because lots of people had been stock-ingthemupfortheirownuseandmostofthe8largedrinkingwater factories were flooded. There are only 2 factories that are capable of producing drinking water so the flood and high level of water in many areas in Bangkok, Pathumthani and Nonthaburi which has a tendency to be worse along with the Bangkok Water Work does not have the capacity to produce as good quality water as before the flood will make the people in the area really lacks

แผนการช่วยเหลือองค์กรโรตำรีให้ควำมส�ำคัญเรื่องน�้ำสะอำดเป็นล�ำดับต้นขณะนี้ประชำชนชำวไทยกว่ำ 2 ล้ำนคนก�ำลังอยู่ในภำวะเสี่ยงต่อกำรขำดแคลนน�้ำสะอำดส�ำหรับดื่มในช่วงอุทกภัย ประชำชนเหล่ำนี้ครอบคลุมคนทุกระดับ และรวมทั้งสมำชิกโรแทเรียนด้วย ในขณะที่โรงงำนผลิตน�้ำดื่มขนำดใหญ่ในกรุงเทพและปริมณฑล ไม่สำมำรถผลิตน�้ำดื่มได้เหมือนปกติ จึงต้องพิจำรณำหำแหล่งผลิตน�้ำดื่มขนำดเล็กทดแทน ซึ่งโรงงำนเหล่ำนี้ตั้งอยู่ในต่ำงจังหวัดซึ่งรวมทั้งแหล่งน�้ำดิบและกำรผลิตขวดพลำสติกส�ำหรับบรรจุ

จำกกำรสอบถำมเบื้องต้นในภำค 3330 มีโรงงำนที่พร้อมผลิตน�้ำดื่มเพิ่มเติมในรำคำประหยัดในจังหวัดสมุทรปรำกำร, รำชบุรี กระบี่ และ ภูเก็ตโดยเฉพำะโรงงำน 1 แห่งในภูเก็ต แจ้งว่ำสำมำรถผลิตน�้ำดื่มเพิ่มเติมได้40,000ขวดต่อวันในรำคำประมำณรำคำขวดละ4-5บำทรวมค่ำขนส่งจำกแหล่งผลิตไปยังโกดังที่สมุทรปรำกำร

การผลิตน�้าดื่มน�้ำดื่มสะอำดของโรตำรีนี้ ได้ผ่ำนกำรกรอง กำรฆ่ำเชื้อด้วยแสงอุลตร้ำไวโอเล็ตหรือกรรมวิธีอื่นที่ได้รับกำรรับรองคุณภำพ600ซีซี ต่อขวดมีสัญญลักษณ์วงล้อโรตำรีพิมพ์อยู่บนขวดเป็นกำรประชำสัมพันธ์องค์กรไปพร้อมกัน มีค่ำใช้จ่ำย รวมค่ำน�้ำสะอำด, ค่ำขวดพลำสติก, ค่ำพิมพ์ขวดและค่ำขนส่งจำกแหล่งผลิตไปยังโกดังและจำกโกดังกระจำยไปยังผู้รับซึ่งตกประมำณ4-5บำทต่อขวด

แหล่งผลิตน�้าดื่ม 1. โรงงำนผลิตน�้ำดื่มขนำดกลำงหรือขนำดเล็กเพื่อจ�ำหน่ำยในพื้นที่แต่ละอ�ำเภอหรือจังหวัดโดยขอให้เพิ่มกำรผลิตตำมแผนโรตำรี 2. ขอให้สโมสรติดต่อชุมชนหรือโรงเรียนที่ได้รับบริจำคเครื่องกรองน�้ำจำกสโมสรที่มีก�ำลังกำรกรองน�้ำสูง ให้ช่วยผลิตน�้ำให้กับโรตำรี โดยภำคฯจะหำขวดให้

งบประมาณด�าเนินการงบประมำณในกำรด�ำเนินงำนเพื่อจัดหำน�้ำดื่มสะอำด1ล้ำนขวดประมำณ4-5ล้ำนบำท

Plan to HelpRotary puts clean water as its priority.Nowadays more than 2 million Thai people are in danger of lacking clean drinking water during the flood disaster. These people include all level including our fellow Rotarians. While large water factories in Bangkok and surrounding areas cannot produce drinking water like they normally can, there are needs to find smaller factories to substitute. These factories are lo-cated up country including the source for water and the making of plastic bottles for containers. From asking around, the Dis-trict 3330 has factories that can produce additional drinking water in low prices in Samutprakarn, Ratchaburi, Krabi and Phuket. Especially one factory in Phuket said that it can pro-duce40,00bottlesperdayatthepriceof4-5Bahtperbottle(including transportation from the factory to the warehouse in Samutprakarn).

The Production of Drinking WaterThis Rotary’s clean drinking water had been through filtration, kill germs by UV or other system that had been quality proven withthesizeof600cc.perbottle.TherewillbetheRotaryWheel on the bottle as a way of promoting our organization also. The expenses including clean water, plastic bottle, print-ing on the bottle and transportation from the factory to ware-houseandfromthewarehousetotherecipientwillbeabout4-5Bahtperbottle.

Source of Drinking Water 1. Medium or small water factories to sell in the area of each district or province that will be made according to Rotary’s plan 2. Ask the club to contact the community or school that had received the water filter systems with high capacity from such club to help make water for Rotary. The District will pro-vide the bottle.

The RC of Nakhonchaisri along with RCC of Srisathong (Wat-

sathien), RCC of Srisathongruanjai and Interact Club of Srisath-

ongruamjai walked to rally for Polio eradication by receiving

donation into the Polio Fund. The RCC of Srisathong had do-

nated$200andRCCSrisathongruamjaidonated$300onOcto-

ber24,2011atSrisathongCommunityandWatsathienCom-

munity.
