SCHOLARS

A record ve midshipmen were selected for Rhodes,Marshall and Mitchell postgraduate scholarships.

Midshipmen 1st Class Katie Whitcombe and ChristianHeller were awarded Rhodes Scholarships, whichprovide two or three years of study at the University ofOxford in England.

Midshipmen 1st Class Ronald Allen and KatelynDavidson were awarded Marshall Scholarships, whichprovide two years of postgraduate study at a U.K.university.

Midshipman 1st Class Jonathan Poole received theMitchell Scholarship, which provides one year of studyat a university in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
