Meet the faculty at Holy Family... Ms. Mandy Heldmann is our Preschool teacher. Ms. Heldmann has taught kindergarten in the Joliet Diocese for 20 years. She believes that preschool is a vital component of a child's educational journey since it is where the foundation of learning is laid. Ms. Heldmann has her Bachelor of Sci-ence degree in Elementary Education from Texas Christian University as well as her Master of Education de-gree in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University. She is Illinois certified with special en-dorsements in Language Arts and Social Science.

VOLUNTEER TUTORS NEEDED Join the Congregation of St. Joseph in their Adult Literacy/ESL Program, Tutors on Wheels. The program needs volunteers to teach in Naperville, Glendale Heights, Addison, and Bloomingdale. Teaching takes place in churches, businesses, and social service agencies. Volunteers are needed to teach one hour a week, on a one-on-one basis in a nearby location. Tu-toring sessions are scheduled weekday mornings, some late afternoons (and/or evenings). Pantry News

On Wednesday August 31 we gave out 78 bags.

Thank you to all who have so generously sup-ported the pantry. Our food supplies have dwin-

dled over the summer months. We are in need of every-thing. Especially boxes of cereal, canned soup, canned fruit, and canned vegetables. You can put your donations in the pan-try bin that is near the north church entrance. Also, we are in need of help to unload the Northern Illinois Food Bank truck which comes at 11:00am on the second Tuesday of each month, and at 10:00am on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
