Hello babies,

           I?m thrilled and so very excited to be able to finally share my brainchild with you all.

I?ve always had a passion for fashion, whether it would stem from seeing something on the

runway or seeing an old movie and admiring the wardrobe. I?ve also always known that I

was eccentric. I created this magazine for those like myself who may not follow the

generic route in doing anything but still see the beauty in everything. We don't fit into one

category and neither does this magazine, I'm going to be providing you politics, fashion,

music and everything in between.

Together in this issue we?ll say goodbye to the old way of thinking of fashion and

embrace our eccentricity and creativity, throwing away the old fashion trends of 2015 and

welcoming in the newest ones of 2016. We?ll dive into the mind of the young and creative

Valentino Watson as he attempts to explain to us just how overwhelming and exciting it is

to be him. ?Let?s Rock? keeps you up to date on the hottest music while ?Yay or Nay? breaks

down and explains how to avoid the latest fashion fails. Embrace your eccentricity as much

as I do and you?ll go far.

From jean-on-jean to the infamous and always easy

all black ensemble, 2015 has had some memorable

fashion trends for sure. But as everyone is just

beginning to get comfortable in 2016 there are

many trends that are already beginning to be

noticed.. It's a new year, which means its the perfect

time for a clean slate -- and to update your

wardrobe. It's time to reach for those snake skins

and silks you've been hiding or invest in some new

silhouettes and pieces for the new year. Here's a list

How he remains "him" in an industry that wants him to be someone else

` There is nothing about Valentino

Watson that could be described as boring

or in any way not exceptional. From his

hand-embroidered jeans to his cobalt

blue UGG?s, his presence immediately

il luminated the room as he entered,

completely professional and ready to be

interviewed. And he is only 19.

Growing in the heart of Brooklyn,

Valentino always had a strong passion

for fashion and was interested in

pursuing a career in the f ield. This year

was he debut modeling career, posing in

the Kanye West Yeezy SNS3 fashion

show during New York fashion week.

Although exactly what position he would

acquire was not certain it is inevitable

that he will certainly be a fashionable

force to be reckoned with. After his face

graced the pages of Vogue, Complex and

the like, his l ife would never be the

same. So how does he remain humble

and himself in a word that wants to see

him be someone else?

Me: ?So, Valentino how are you??

V: ?How am I today? I feel lovely, you know??

Me: ?That?s actually one of my favorite adjectives, so I do know. Before we start is there anything you?d like to say or ask me??

V: ?Just don?t want you to ask me anything that you?re supposed to. Ask the things that you, Anastasia, want to know, don?t ask me anything that can be googled.?

Me: ?Okay. What planet are you from??

He leaned back in his chair and instantly a look of comfort and relaxation washed over his face. As the interview progressed I asked him the most arbitrary questions and he opened up to me the thoughts that he seemed so willing to express but had never been given the opportunity to.

V: ?Earth. But not for the generic reasons, I just feel like I?m bound to the four forces of nature that run this planet; and I don?t have the ability to break them so I must be from here.?

Me: ?What?s the most beautiful, most picturesque thing you?ve ever seen??

V: ?An Orange sky.?

Me? What are three things you want to do before you die, either based in reality or fantasy, doesn?t matter.?

V:? Make the greatest movie ever, have a daughter, and kill someone?

          

I wondered to myself which of those goals were based in reality and which were just fantasy.

Me: ?How much do you actually like fashion??

V: ?Um, I like fashion but I don?t know if I would say that I?m really heavily into it. I?m really heavily into my own style; I mean why wouldn?t I be? That?s what got me noticed and that?s what matters but I also love the runway because you get to see how creative people can get visually. And the clothing can just be so unique and weird; it?s amazing. But ever since the Kanye show it?s been crazy because I just don?t dress that way, they don?t realize that it was just a show and I?m me?I?m not yeezy   laughs?

Me ? What?s your passion

and how long did it take you to discover it??

V: ?My passion is money. Sounds superficial right? But I?ve realized that I just can?t be happy without it, but at the same time I have it now and somehow it?s not enough. I?m not happy enough. Music isn?t enough, art and fashion aren?t enough and love just never satiated me. So I have to get more money.?

Me: ?How supportive are your parents when it coms to embracing your creativity and lifestyle??

V: ?They?re only supportive when they see the results of my ability, for example my photography being featured in a magazine or when I get to meet and hang out with celebrities. Other than that, they?re parents and they pester me.?

Me? Okay final question, where do you see yourself in five minutes, five days, and five years??

V: ?Well in five minutes I?m probably going to be smacked, so that?s always great. In five days I don?t want to feel as sick as I feel today and hopefully have some more money. And well in five years it?ll be two years since I?m out of college, I?ll be 24 and hopefully being as great as I am right now, getting my life together and doing something that I love.?
