This paper will analyze the works and contributions of Prof.
Ismail Raji al-Faruqi in Islamization ofknowledge and its critical
impact in Islamic world. It will discussed the method and framework
he
developed as illustrated in his works such as Islamization of
Knowledge: General Principleand Work
Plan and Islamization of English. The discussion will also
compared his ideas with Syed MuhammadNaquib al-Attas and Fazlur
Rahman. It will highlight al-Faruqi's peculiar approach and
worldview and
its contemporary relevance in the movement of Islamization and
reassertion of Islamic world order at
large.
