• Christ is the FIRSTBORN of all creation…• He existed before anything else,    and he holds all creation together.

18 Christ is also the head of the church,    which is his body. He is the beginning,

   the FIRSTBORN from the dead.

So he is first in everything.• 是 首 生 的 ， 在 一 切 被 造 的 以 先 。他 也 是 教 會 全 體 之 首 。 他 是 元 始 ， 是 從 死 裡 首 先 復 生 的 ， 使 他 可 以 在 凡 事 上 居 首 位 。

Colossians 1:15, 17-18

• For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that

his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ.12 Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. 13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value. 14 If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. 15 But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.

Galatians 5:19f - 加 拉 太 書

 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

• But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
