Internationaal erkend Emiel van Egdom, heeft nadat hij zijn conservatorium opleiding afslooten studeerde aan het befaamde Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA),lang in Los Angelesgewoond waar hij 5 solo albums maakte met een imposante reeks top musici.Inmiddels woont hij in New York en Maastricht en, in zijn spel een origineel, componeert enarrangeert hij zijn originele muziek voor ontelbare projecten wereldwijd als gitarist, componist,arrangeur en producer.Oorspronkelijk een Nederlander, pendelt hij nu op en neer tussen de USA en Nederland en blijftde eerste Nederlander die een amerikaanse Jazz Award (1983, Jim Hall award) en eenAmerikaans platen contract in de wacht sleepte met voortdurend succes.Hij werkt nu aan zijn 6e solo CD (“VI”) terwijl hij ook werkt in zijn nieuwe opnamestudio“CULEA Productions”.

Internationally acclaimed van Egdom, after finishing his conservatory education and studyingat the famous Berklee College of Music was a longtime resident of Los Angeles where he record-ed 5 soloalbums with participation of a whole list of famous musicians.He now lives in New York and Maastricht where, being an original in his playing, he writesand arranges all of his original music and works worldwide for numerous other projects as gui-tarist, composer, arranger and producer.

A native of the Netherlands, he now spends his time travelling back and forth between the 2countries, and remains the first dutch jazzmusician with an US recordingdeal and continuingsucces.

He is now working on his 6th solorelease named VI while also work from his newly acquiredrecording studio “CULEA™ Productions”.
