30 September 19Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my patk-Psalm 119:105Dear Friends,

Greetings in the name of Jesus. It is So hard to believe that my three year termis almost completed. I ve had many wonderful experiences and many sorrows inthese past three years but the Lord has been so gracious and precious to me as 1have rejoiced and struggled. At times I feel Ihave grown, then at times I feel Ihave gone in reverse. I am sure that as each of us seeks to do the best in thesight of the Lord, we have found so many areas that we are weak and that wefall in. But, 1am learning to trust in the Lordit is not easyAs I think of all the experiences I have had, I realize I could not have done thiswithout your love and support and many prayers. Thank you for loving me thatmuch Each of you has been a part of my life here in so many ways.To let you know what my plans are (all of which were pending on my workpermit being renewedwhich it was on ov 1 for another two years), I plan toleave Zimbabwe on the 22nd of January. 1989. I will travel for several weeksbefore arriving home around the first part of February. I do hope to be atJohnson Bible College Homecoming and hope to see so many old friends there. Ihope to be available for speaking and visits by the end of February. Please keepall this in your prayers as I strive to get letters answered, presentationprepared, my flat (apartment) packed up and things at the college completed soothers can take over easily. 1 look forward to being home and hopefully seeingeach of you.Again I say thank you and God s special blessings on each of you as you strive todo all that He desires fo r you.

    In Him and with love.

November 7, 1988Greeting in the name of Jesus from Tallahassee,The enclosed letter from Jayne Linda was written by her before she received thenews about the renewal of her work permit for another two years. We addedthe message to her letter in paragraph-three.) We talked to her this weekendand she is looking forward to coming home. If your church or group would liketo have her come for a speaking engagement or presentation, we request thatyou either complete the attach form and send to us , or you may call us inTallahassee at 904)877-4463, Since we both work the best time to call wouldbe after 6 pm EST. or on the weekend.Jayne Linda needs to add more churches or church groups to her regular support. This should be for at least three years. Jayne has been just getting by on thesupport she currently has. There are expenses to maintain her car and expensesto maintain her apartment, not counting insurance, taxes, etc. Right now shemust have 250. to pay her Zimbabwe income tax. Another cost will be the useof a car while home, travel costs in the states and maintaning her apartment inZimbabwe. Please pray that churches and church groups will help out with allthe expenses. Many of you have been faithful partners with Jayne for the pastthree years. To many this has been a real sacrifice, and we thank the Lord everyday for your fathfulness. It always proves the scriptures, that when we give tothe Lord s work. He more than provides for our needs. Please encourage yourchurch to get involved in missions. It will solve many problems they may behaving.Once again we say thanks, and I know you look forward to seeing Jayne, as welook forward to February.
