Varying levels of insulation both in terms of thickness and area coverage are applied depending on the specific project requirements. Materials are chosen project specifically depending on operating depth, temperatures and method of application. Applications Flow assurance has become a critical aspect of Deepwater developments. To protect subsea structures such as Trees, Manifolds, PLETS, Sleds and Jumpers from hydrate formation (waxing) they are insulated externally. Trelleborg CRP’s key clients are the major Tree manufacturers, equipment fabricators and installation contractors. Product Advantages Trelleborg CRP have a wide product range and a strong track record, with expert knowledge regarding material performance and qualification levels with recognised quality and HSE certification. Mobile site facilities are able to relocate anywhere in the world to operate on client supplied sites. Trelleborg CRP has the site capacity to insulate Trees and piping components in-house in Skelemersdale (UK) or Houston (USA). Scope of Supply Trelleborg CRP has the capability to cast huge sections of insulation material with single mouldings reaching 2 tonnes. In-house Trelleborg CRP has handled up to 4 trees simultaneously (at about 40 tonnes each). Specification checklist Detailed drawings to accurately size insulation and tooling. Required coverage of insulation. Operating temperature and depth. Thermal performance requirements. Preferred logistical scenario.
