Information Systems Design : Part of a 3-person team, responsible for the creation of a reservation system for a Bed and Breakfast Lodge using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic. Worked as part of the interface group and collaborated with the database team and the Quality Assurance team. Responsible for linking Database tables to multiple Access forms that joined together in order to create a working software package. Gave presentation of finished Access program to classmates and provided a demonstration. Gained insight on the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while working in Agile silo-styled methodologies in order to bring together User Interface developments into other aspects of the program later on.
Intro to Business Processes & ERP Analytics: Acted as an SAP Procurement Director for a fictional dairy company while working as part of a 3-person team in an MBA-level course. Responsible for Production Forecast, Planned Requirements (MRP’s) and Purchase Orders (PO’s), which were all handled in the SAP ERP platform. Gave a presentation on findings and placed as a Top 3 Finalist, judged by gross revenue. Our team, through SAP, catered an extensive portfolio of inventory to consumer demand ran by an algorithm in an SAP server. Learned how to use SAP though a hands-on approach; entered data into Bill of Materials (BOMs), vendor information (codes, locations, etc..) and other enterprise structure from scratch. Used a remote SAP server with a working algorithm that mimicked market movement and change.
