Ülkemizde son yıllarda artışına tanık olduğumuz nitelikli fuarlar, bianeller, kişisel ve karma sergilerin yanında yurt dışında da sıkça temsil edilmemizin, hem sanatçı hem de izleyici açısından önemi yadsınamaz.

Dünyada artık üslup değil, sanatçı merkezli başarılardan söz ediliyor oluşu yetenekli sanatçının desteklenmesini daha da önemli kılmaktadır. Doğru projeler geliştirip, gelecek vadeden sanatçılara sunulacak imkanlar ile toplum olarak sanatta hak ettiğimiz noktaya yaklaşabiliriz.

Her sene tekrarlanması planlanan “Dinamo 1” adlı bu sergi belli bir konsept etrafında bir araya getirilmese de sanatçıların temelde sorgu nüvesini insan oluşturmaktadır. Durağan enerjinin elektrik enerjisine dönüşmesi anlamına gelen “Dinamo” adlandırmasıyla gençlerin enerjilerinin ortam enerjisine olumlu yansıyacağı hatta son günlerde durağanlaşan sanat ortamını harekete geçirebileceği fikri esas alınmıştır.

Bir kısmını izleme şansı yakalayabildiğim bazılarının da çalışmalarını tek tek incelediğim grup üyelerinin eserleri yan yana geldiklerinde oluşturdukları doku farklılıkları, seçimin rastlantısal yapılmadığının göstergesidir. Sanatta yenilik, değişim, farklılık ve özgünlüğün esas olduğu gerçeği ile zamanla belki kendi içinde daha olumlu ayrışmalar ve yenilenmeler de gerçekleşebilecektir.

Toplam 16 sanatçının katılımıyla oluşan sergide, çalışmaların figüratif, realist, soyut ve kavramsal olarak gruplanabildiği görülmektedir. Bu ana bölümler de kendi içinde farklı nüanslar içermektedir. Sergiye katılan sanatçıları üslupları bakımından tek tek ele aldığımızda, bütünde figüratif ağırlıklı çalışan genç sanatçılarımızın insana dair farklı sorunsallardan hareket ettikleri ve farklı anlatım dili benimsedikleri görülüyor.

Deniz Sağdıç’ın düşle gerçek arasındaki gidiş gelişleri konu aldığını, Erkan Yaprakkıran’ın figürün estetik algısı üzerine daha ekspressif bir tavır ile kurgular oluşturduğunu, Silver Gözütok Güçlü’nün ise fotogerçekçi resim dilini yaşamsal realite ifadesiyle örtüştüren bir tutum sergilediğini görmekteyiz. Ezgi Özkılıç’ın portrelerindeki sorunsallık gerçek dünya ile insanın iç dünyası arasındaki çatışmada temellenirken, Abidin Müslüm Baysal’ın temel sorunsalını sınırları belirlenmiş insan ve insanlık halleri, anlam ve değer karmaşası oluşturmaktadır. Hakan Özdil, çağın parçalanmışlığının, insanın kendi parçalanmışlığına olan etkisini irdelerken, Bülent Yavuz Yılmaz’ın resimleri ise daha izlenimci tattaki armoni ve ritim algısıyla üretilmiştir.

Semih Zeki’nin doğayı ve mimari konstrüksiyonu iç içe kullanarak, insanın parçası olduğu doğa ile olan ilişkisini ve boyut içinde başka bir boyut yaratma arzusunu, Abdulkerim Bozan’ın cinsiyet, kimlik, şiddet, ötekileştirme ve aidiyet kavramlarını bambaşka bir dille daha kavramsalcı bir tutumla irdelediği, Sevim Özyurt’un ise insan varoluşunu kolaj tekniği ile yorumladığı görülmektedir.

Soyut ağıtlıklı grupta Haydar Akdağ, organik doku ve lekelerin hakim olduğu lirik bir dil ile sürmekte olan evrenin mücadelesini anlatırken, Onur Fendoğlu’nun yerel özlerden beslenip, geleneksel üsluba hakim, lirik soyut anlatım diline ulaştığını görüyoruz. Tuncay Topçu’nun devinimi yüksek, soyut dışavurumcu tavırla ürettiği monokrom renk ağırlıklı resimleri, Cenk Akaltun’un ise yaratılışı sorgularken, tabiatta her materyali bünyesinde barındıran birçok ruhani organizmanın varlığına gönderme yapan resimleri sergileniyor.

Cemil Özçelik’in detaya ve dokuya odaklı soyutlamaları, biçimi keskin, sert ve rahatsız edici duruşundan kurtarıp, farklı bir ruh ve duyarlılıkla ele alınıyor. İsmail Üner ise geleceği daha iyi kurgulamak isteyen sanat anlayışıyla, geçmiş-bugün-gelecek arasında zaman ve mekan kavramının farklı boyutlarına ve günümüze göndermeler yapmaktadır.

Medeniyetin ve gelişmenin olmazsa olmazı bilim kadar önemli sanata dair sarf edilen bu çabalar sonucu elde edilen başarılar umuyoruz hepimizi mutlu edecektir.

Apart from the increasing number of high quality art fairs, biennials, solo exhibitions, and group shows we have been witnessing in Turkey in recent years, the frequent representation of Turkish art abroad carries an undeniable importance for artists and viewers alike.

Today, the world speaks not of style, but rather of artist-based achievements; this changing current lends further importance to supporting talented artists. By developing the right kind of projects and granting opportunities to promising artists, we can reach the place we deserve in art.

Designed to become an annual event, the exhibition entitled, “Dynamo 1” is not centered on a specific concept. However, the human being constitutes the fundamental concern of the artists involved is the project. The exhibition derives its name “Dynamo,” i.e. the conversion of static energy into electrical energy, from the idea that the energy of young artists will have a positive impact, particularly on the art milieu, which has become somewhat dormant in recent months.

I have had the opportunity to follow some of the artists involved and studied, individually, the works of others. When brought together as a whole, the differences in the texture of their works indicate that the selection of these artists was not random. Considering that innovation, change, diversity, and originality are essential in art, perhaps more positive divergences and revivals could be achieved over time.

Brought to life through the participation of sixteen artists, the exhibition can be grouped into categories of figurative, realist, abstract, and conceptual works. These basic categories also include different nuances. When we regard the artists individually in terms of their style, we observe that overall, young artists executing figurative works derive their ideas from a range of problematics concerning the human being and adopt a different language of expression.

We see, for example, that Deniz Sağdıç focuses on the journeys between dream and reality, Erkan Yaprakkıran creates, in an expressive manner, constructs on the aesthetic perception of figure, and Silver Gözütok Güçlü couples the photorealist pictorial language with an expression of life’s reality. While the problematic explored in Ezgi Özkılıç’s portraits is based on the conflict between the real world and the inner world of the individual, Abidin Müslüm Baysal’s fundamental problematic is comprised of the chaos of meaning and value, as well as the human and the human condition, the borders of which are defined. As Hakan Özdil, scrutinizes the effect the disintegration of the present has on the disintegration of the human being, Bülent Yavuz Yılmaz’s works are produced with a sense of harmony and rhythm that rather borders on impressionism.

We further observe that Semih Zeki nestles nature and architectural construction to explore the human relationship with nature and the desire to build a different dimension within the dimension humans are in. Abdulkerim Bozan, on the other hand, explores the notions of identity, violence, alienation, and identification with an entirely different language and a more conceptualist manner. Finally, Sevim Özyurt interprets the existence of the human being through a collage technique.

In the category of mostly abstract works, while Haydar Akdağ portrays the struggle of the universe through a lyrical language dominated by an organic texture and stains, Onur Fendoğlu, nourished by local features, attains a lyrical language of abstract expression that has a firm grip on the traditional style. This category also includes the predominantly monochromatic, highly energetic works that Tuncay Topçu produces in an abstract expressionist style, as well as Cenk Akaltun’s paintings that not only question creation, but also allude to the existence of a number of spiritual organisms that contain all kinds of materials.

Cemil Özçelik’s detail and texture-oriented abstractions liberate form from its sharp, rigid, and unsettling stance and are treated with a different spirit and sensitivity. With his concept of art that yearns to construct the future better, İsmail Üner, on the other hand, alludes to the different dimensions of the concepts of time and space between the past, the present, and the future.

We hope that everyone will be pleased with the achievements to be derived from the efforts made towards art, which is just as important as science in the progress of growth and civilizations.

cenk akaltun1970 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. 1996 yılında Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Serigrafi ve Baskı Teknikleri Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. 1998-1999 yılları arasında Londra Saint Martins Art And Design’da karışık teknikler, 1999-2002 yılları arasında Camberwell College of Visiual Arts ‘da resim üzerine eğitimini tamamladı. Gerek dinsel, gerekse felsefi açılımları ile işlenen yaratılış konusu sanatçının etkilendiği konuların başında yer almaktadır. Yaratılışı, su ve dünyanın hergün yeniden oluşturulmasıyla devam eden bir süreç olarak resimlerinde ele alır. Resminin bütünü; tabiatın kendisinde olduğu gibi, her materyali oluşturan birçok ruhani organizmaların bir araya gelmesiyle oluşmaktadır. Birçok kişisel sergi açmış olup, ulusal - uluslararası pek çok karma sergi ve fuar da eserleri sergilenmiştir. Sanatçı, İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

He was born in İstanbul in 1970. He graduated from Yıldız Technical University’s Department of Silk-screening and Print Techniques in 1996. He studied mixed techniques at Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London between 1998 and 1999, and painting at Camberwell College of Visual Arts between 1999 and 2002. Both in terms of religion and philosophy, the subject of creation is among the themes that inspire the artist. In his works, he approaches creation as a process that continues with water and the formation of earth every day. Similar to nature, his oeuvre is comprised of the combination of countless spiritual organisms that constitute each material. Akaltun has opened a number of solo exhibitions and displayed his works in numerous national and international groups shows and fairs. The artist continues to work out of his studio in İstanbul.

haydar akdağ1986 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. 2003 yılında burslu kazandığı Yeditepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Moda ve Tekstil Tasarımı Bölümü’nde birincilik ile eğitimini tamamladı. Disiplinler arası metot uygulamalarıyla, soyut, organik doku ve lekelerle birlikte geometrik egemenleri çalışmalarında kullanarak ortaya çıkardığı eserlerinde, sanatçı kendi dünyasının rengini, matematiğini ve yaşam alanındaki gerçek olasılıklarını, öte yandan sürmekte olan evrenin mücadelesinin yanındaki konumunu eserlerinde vurgulamaktadır. Ulusal pek çok karma sergi ve fuarda eserleri sergilenmiş, Goldaş takı yarışması ve Kagider “Kadından Kadına Köprü” sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde ödüller almıştır. Sanatçı, Yeditepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Plastik Sanatlar Bölümü’nde yüksek lisans programına devam etmekte ve İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde tasarım ve resim çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

He was born in İstanbul in 1986. In 2003, he was accepted, on a scholarship, to the Department of Fashion and Textile Design at Yeditepe University’s School of Fine Arts, from which he graduated at the top of his class. In his works, Akdağ uses interdisciplinary methods through which he combines abstract, organic textures and stains as well as dominant geometric figures. In doing so, the artist emphasizes the color and mathematics of his own world and the possibilities of reality in the domain of life, as well as his place next to the ongoing struggle of the universe. Akdağ has displayed his works in a number of national groups shows and fairs and received awards at the Goldaş jewelry design competition and Kagider’s “Bridge from One Woman to Another” social responsibility project. The artist is currently enrolled in the Master’s program at the Department of Plastic Arts in Yeditepe University’s School of Fine Arts and continues to paint and design out of his studio in İstanbul.

In 1992, he ranked eighth in the admissions examinations to the Art Teaching Department of Ankara Gazi University’s Department of Fine Arts Education and earned a National Education Scholarship. In 2002, he was qualified to teach at Avni Akyol High School of Fine Arts in İstanbul. The fullness of the universe and the vast emptiness in humans; man and the conditions of man… The state of surrendering to alienation; the chaos of meaning and value… In his oeuvre, Baysal introduces his viewers to deformations in the pure nature of man and the quest for freedom through large stains. Baysal has opened a solo exhibition and displayed his works in a number of national group shows and competitions. The artist is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program at Yeditepe University’s School of Fine Arts and continues to works out of his studio in İstanbul.

abdülkerim bozan1979 yılında Kızıltepe, Mardin’de doğdu. 2009 yılında Kocaeli Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Plastik Sanatlar Ana sanat Dalı, Resim Programını birincilikle kazandı. “Dijital Teknolojinin Plastik Sanatlara Sağladığı Olanaklar” konulu yüksek lisans tezi ile 2011 yılında mezun oldu. Plasentayı referans alarak cinsiyet, kimlik, şiddet, ötekileştirme ve aidiyet kavramları ele alarak eserlerini akrilik, yağlı boya ile baskıyı bir arada kullanarak var etmektedir. Ulusal-uluslararası pek çok karma sergi, sanat fuarı, bienal ve yarışmalarda çalışmaları sergilenmiş olup birçok müzede eseri bulunmaktadır. Sanatçı, Marmara Üniversitesinde Öğretim Görevlisi olarak devam etmekte ve İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

He was born in Kızıltepe, Mardin in 1979. In 2009, he ranked first in the admission examinations to the Painting Program in Kocaeli University’s Institute of Social Sciences--Department of Plastic Arts. He graduated in 2011 with his M.A. thesis entitled, “What Digital Technology Brings to Plastic Arts.” Using the placenta as a reference point, he addresses the concepts of gender, identity, violence, alienation, and the sense of belonging by combining acrylic and oil paint with prints in his oeuvre. Bozan has displayed his works in a number of national-international exhibitions, art fairs, biennials, and competitions; some are preserved in various museums. The artist is currently a faculty member at Marmara University and continues to work out of his studio in İstanbul.

onur fendoğlu1983 yılında Malatya’da doğdu. 2007 yılında İnönü Üniversitesi Resim-İş öğretmenliğinden dereceyle mezun oldu. Anadolu’nun özgün, melankolik estetik algısını, postmodern bir yorumla kişisel tavrına dönüştürürken ait olunan coğrafya algısı bilincinin önemi savunusu ile yol almaktadır. Birçok kişisel sergi açmış olup, ulusal ve uluslar arası pek çok karma fotoğraf, grafik ve resim sergilerinde eserleri sergilenmiştir. 2012 yılında bir fotoğrafı National Geographic dergisinde yayınlanmış olup, 2003 yılında “İTKİB” moda tasarım yarışmasında ilk 30 finalist arasında yer almıştır. 2. Ordu Tarihi Silahlar ve İç Güvenlik Müzesi’nin tanziminde müzenin anlamını içeren duvar resimleri yapmıştır. Sanatçı, Malatya’da kendi sanat atölyesinde tasarım ve resim çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

He was born in Malatya in 1983. In 2007, he graduated with honors from the Arts and Crafts Teacher School of İnönü University. In transforming the original, melancholic aesthetic conception of Anatolia into his personal stance with a postmodern interpretation, he moves forward with the defense of the importance of the awareness about the conception of the geography to which people belong. Fendoğlu has opened a number of solo exhibitions and displayed his works in various group shows of photography, graphic arts, and painting. In 2012, one of his photographs was published in National Geographic; in 2003, he was among the top thirty finalists in the “İTKİB” fashion design competition. During the organization of the Second Army’s Museum of Historic Weaponry and Domestic Safety, he painted murals depicting the importance of the museum. The artist continues to paint and design out of his studio in Malatya.

Resimsel gerçekliği, yaşamsal realite ifadesini merkeze alan, kadın dünyasında bireysellik ve toplumsallık karakter yapıları üzerine kuruludur. Bu da gerçekçi, giderek fotogerçekçi resim dilinin sadece fotoğrafın ifade ettiği alanları anlatmakla sınırlı olmadığını, gerisinde yatan gizli-açık büyük hikaye ve oluş serüvenini de değerlendirdiğini göstermektedir. Birçok kişisel sergi açmış, yarışmalarda derece almış olup, ulusal - uluslararası pek çok karma sergide eserleri sergilenmiştir. Sanatçı, Yeditepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi’nde Plastik Sanatlar Bölümü’nde yüksek lisans programına devam etmekte ve İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

She was born in Erzurum in 1978. In 1999, she completed her studies at the Depart of Painting in Ondokuz Mayıs University and the same year she began teaching at the Ministry of National Education. Since 2004, she continues to teach at Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School in İstanbul. Centering on the expression of reality in life, her works are based on individuality and collectivity in a woman’s world. This shows that the increasingly photorealist pictorial language is not merely confined to areas that photographs reveal; it in fact indicates that this language also takes into consideration the secret-open grand narrative and the adventure of being behind it. Güçlü has opened a number of solo exhibitions, received awards in competitions, and displayed her works in numerous national-international group shows. The artist is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the Department of Plastic Arts in Yeditepe University’s School of Fine Arts and continues to work out of her studio in İstanbul.

cemil özçelik1975 yılında Adıyaman’ın Çelikhan ilçesinde doğdu. 1999 yılında Fırat Üniversitesi Bilgisayarlı Muhasebe Bölümü, 2002 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Raylı Sistemler Teknolojisi, 2006 yılında da İnönü Üniversitesi Resim-İş Öğretmenliği Resim ana sanat dalından mezun oldu. Detaya ve dokuya götüren soyutlamaları, biçimin keskin, sert ve rahatsız edici duruşundan kurtarıp, bir ruh ve duyarlılıkla farklı anlam evrenleri keşfettirmektedir. Soyut ve soyutlama gerçekliğinin içerisinde sonsuz olasıkları, samimi ifadeleri ve kaygılı arayışları görülmektedir. Birçok kişisel sergi açmış olup, ulusal ve uluslar arası pek çok karma fotoğraf ve resim sergilerinde eserleri sergilenmiştir. Kıbrıs Kaya Artemis Otelinin Rölyef ve heykellerinin % 90’ının yapımında Heykeltraş Cengiz Göğebakan ile birlikte çalışmıştır. 2. Ordu Tarihi Silahlar ve İç Güvenlik Müzesi’nin tanziminde müzenin anlamını içeren duvar resimleri yapmıştır. Arel Üniversitesi Grafik Tasarım Yüksek lisans programında tez aşamasında olup, bitirme tezini “Detay ve Doku Fotoğrafları” üzerine hazırlamaktadır. Sanatçı, İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

He was born in Çelikhan, Adıyaman in 1975. He graduated from İnönü University’s Department of Arts and Crafts Teaching in 2006. Leading to detail and texture, his abstractions are liberated from the sharp, rigid, and disturbing demeanor of form and lead, with spirit and sensitivity, to a discovery of different universes of meaning. It is possible to observe the infinite possibilities in the reality of abstract and abstraction, as well as his sincere expressions and concerned quests. Özçelik has opened a number of solo exhibitions and displayed his works in numerous national and international group shows of photography and painting. He collaborated with sculptor Cengiz Göğebakan in the execution of ninety percent of the reliefs and sculptors in Kaya Artemis Hotel in Cyprus. During the organization of the Second Army’s Museum of Historic Weaponry and Domestic Safety, he painted murals depicting the importance of the museum. Özçelik is currently writing his Master’s thesis on “Photographs of Detail and Texture” in the Graphic Design Program of Arel University. The artist continues to work out of his studio in İstanbul.

hakan özdil1983 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. 2006 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümünde, Kerim Kılıçarslan, Zafer Mintaş, Rüçhan Şahinoğlu, Elif Taktak, Mürteza Fidan, Hakan Onur atölyelerinde eğitimini tamamladı. Doğanın insanla arasındaki sorunları, çağın parçalanmışlığı, günümüz insanının hem ruhsal hem de nesnel boyutta zincirleme reaksiyonlara neden olduğu ve bu reaksiyonlar sonucunda her şeyin, her zaman, her yere saçıldığı, insanın kendi parçalanmışlığına bu sonsuz atomlar evreninde renklerle yeni bir anlam, yeni bir ad, yeni bir yanıt bulmaya çalıştığı konuları resimlerinin temel dilini oluşturmaktadır. 2012’de ilk kişisel sergisini açmış olup, ulusal pek çok karma sergide eserleri sergilenmiştir. Sanatçı, İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

In 2006, he completed his studies at the Painting Department of Marmara University’s School of Fine Arts was trained under Kerim Kılıçarslan, Zafer Mintaş, Rüçhan Şahinoğlu, Elif Taktak, Mürteza Fidan, and Hakan Onur. The problems between man and nature, the fragmented present, the spiritual and physical chain reactions humans cause and the dispersion of everything everywhere and any time, the individual’s attempts to find a new meaning, a new name, or a new answer to his/her own fragmentation through color in this infinite universe of atoms… These themes constitute the basic language of Özdil’s oeuvre. Özdil had opened his first solo exhibition and displayed his works in a number of national and international group shows and fairs. The artist continues to work out of his studio in İstanbul.

ezgi özkılıç1989 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. 2010 yılında Roma Sanat Akademisi, 2011 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. Portrelerindeki sorunsallık gerçek dünya ile iç dünya arasındaki çatışma ile temellenmektedir. Figürlerini, gerçek hayatta iç dünyasının farkındalığını hissettiği kişilerden seçerek, izleyicisini portre karşısında iç dünyasını deşifre etme içgüdüsü ile karşı karşıya bırakmaktadır. Ulusal - uluslararası pek çok karma sergi ve fuar da eserleri sergilenmiştir. Sanatçı, Yeditepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Plastik Sanatlar Bölümü’nde yüksek lisans programına devam etmekte ve İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

She was born in İstanbul in 1989. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Rome in 2010 and the Department of Painting at Marmara University’s School of Fine Arts in 2011. The problematic in her portraits is based on the conflict with the real world and the inner world. Selecting her figures from real-life individuals whose unique inner world she senses, she urges her viewers to decipher their own inner worlds vis-à-vis the portraits. Özkılıç has displayed her works in a number of national and international group shows and fairs. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s Program at the Department of Plastic Arts in Yedi Tepe University School of Fine Arts and continues to work out of her studio in İstanbul.

Eserlerini Hitit uygarlığı yazıtları form ve desenlerini klasik ve modernize ifade şekli ile, hayatın içinde varoluşçuluğun bir ifade şekli olan kadın ve erkek kimliğini metal malzemeyi de kullanarak kolaj tekniği ile yorumlamaktadır. She was born in Adapazarı in 1958. In 2011, she graduated from the Department of Painting in Doğuş University’s School of Art and Design, ranking first in her department and third in the entire school. Based on a classic and modernized expression of the form and patterns of Hittite inscription tablets, her works interpret, with a collage technique that uses metal, male and female identity as a manifestation of existentialism. Özyurt’s works have been displayed in numerous national and international groups shows and fairs. The artist is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the Department of Plastic Arts in Yeditepe University’s School of Fine Arts and continues to work out of her studio in İstanbul.

Embarking upon a voyage from the real world into a world of dreams, she pushes the limits of her viewers’ imagination; through the movement of colors and the deformation of figures, she extends the journey between dream and reality beyond the canvas with colors and figures and leaves room for the viewer’s interpretation. The subjects she selects are comprised of the historic individuals, events, and concepts she regards as reference points in her life. Sağdıç has opened a number of solo exhibitions, earned awards in competitions, and displayed her works in numerous national and international group shows and fairs. The artist is a member of the International Association of Plastic Arts and continues to work out of her studio in İstanbul.

tuncay topçu1966 yılında Ankara’da doğdu. 1996 yılında London Guildhall University ,Putney School of Art’ta eğitimini tamamladı. Duygu birikiminin dışa vurumu ile tek bir tuvalde üst üste yaptığı resimleri duygusal bir ören yerinde geziniyormuş hissi yaşatmaktadır. Resimlerindeki boşluk bazen uzay boşluğundan daha büyük bir boşluk hissi yaşatmakta, bazen de hücrenin mucizesi bu boşluğun yerini kapatmaktadır. İçindekileri gizlemek için de açığa vurmak için de çizgiler ve renkler resimlerinde size yoldaşlık etmektedir. He was born in Ankara in 1966. In 1996, he completed his studies at Guildhall University’s Putney School of Art in London. Through the images he superimposes on a single canvas through the expression of emotional accumulation, he gives the impression of strolling through an emotional site of ruins. The emptiness in his paintings sometimes lends a sense of a grander emptiness than space; at other times, the miracle of a cell overcomes this void. In order to both hide and reveal its contents, lines and colors accompany the viewer in his works. Topçu has opened various national and international solo shows, received awards in competitions, participated in a number of workshops, and displayed his works in group shows. The artist continues to work out of his studio in İzmir.

In his approach to places with a history, not only does he express a kind of nostalgia, but he also portrays their encounter with the present though his own perspective. He makes references to the different dimensions of time and space between the past, the present, and the future in his concept of art that yearns to construct the future in a better way. His works contain living spaces and objects, thereby capturing the moment and ascribing different meanings to form. Üner has opened numerous solo exhibitions, received awards in competitions, and displayed his works in various national group shows and fairs. The artist continues to work out of his studio in Karabağlar, İzmir.

He was born in İstanbul in 1980. Between 2001 and 2005, he studied under Halil Akdeniz at the Painting Department of Anadolu University’s School of Fine Arts. Concentrating on the themes of “Canvas Body – Body Canvas” and “The Red Language of Body,” his works are based on the notion of aesthetic perception. His oeuvre is constructed of the three following principles: expressive construct on photographs; red and the perception of pattern; the combination of paint and pleasure in the depth of color. İnsan ve onu çevreleyen yaşamsal alanın tüm imgeleri olan şemsiyeler resimlerinin ana temalarıdır. İzlenimleri soyut bir form kazanarak, yaşamsal estetik algı süzgecinde deformasyona uğrar ve değişir. Armoni ve ritim ile içselleştirdiği resimlerinde fırça vuruşları bazen coşkulu, bazen hırçın, bazen de melankolik olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Birçok kişisel sergi açmış olup, ulusal ve uluslararası pek çok karma ve yarışmalı sergilerde eserleri sergilenmiştir. Selçuk Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi’nde yüksek lisansına devam etmekte ve Bolu’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir. Sanatçı, BRHD (Birleşmiş Ressamlar ve Heykeltraşlar Derneği) üyesidir.

He was born in Çaykara, Trabzon in 1971. He graduated from Selçuk University School of Education’s Department of Arts and Crafts. As the symbols of humankind and its habitat, umbrellas constitute the main theme of his works. His impressions reach an abstract form, undergo a deformation through the sieve of aesthetic perception, and transform themselves. In the works he internalizes with harmony and rhythm, he emerges, alternatively, with impassioned, ill-tempered, or melancholic brush strokes. Yılmaz has opened a number of exhibitions and displayed his works in numerous national and international groups shows and competition exhibitions. He is currently enrolled in a Master’s Program at Selçuk University’s School of Fine Arts and continues to work out of his studio in Bolu. Yılmaz is a member of the Association of United Painters and Sculptors.

semih zeki1981 yılında Bolu’da doğdu. 2004 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nde eğitimini tamamladı. Doğayı ve mimari konstrüksiyonu iç içe kullanarak, insanın parçası olduğu doğa ile olan ilişkisini irdeleyerek, günümüz insanının farkına varamadığı çıkmazı, farklı bir anlatım dili ile göstermektedir. Doğaya olan duyarlılığını yanı sıra içinde bulunduğumuz hızlı kentleşme ve beraberindeki çarpık kent dönüşüm sanatçının çalışmalarında irdelediği konulardır. Birçok kişisel sergi açmış olup, ulusal - uluslararası pek çok karma sergi ve fuar da eserleri sergilenmiştir. 2. Antalya Resim Festivalinde 3.’lük ödülü bulunan sanatçının özel koleksiyonlarda eserleri yer almaktadır. 2012 yılında Işık Üniversitesi, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde Sanat Kuramı ve Eleştiri yüksek lisans programını tamamlayan sanatçı, İstanbul’da kendi sanat atölyesinde çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

He was born in Bolu in 1981. In 2004, he completed his studies at the Painting Department of Marmara University’s School of Fine Arts. By nestling nature and architectural construction and scrutinizing man’s relationship with nature, he reveals, with a different language, the predicament of present times, to which people seem oblivious. Apart from his sensitivity towards nature, rapid urbanization, and the consequent unplanned urban transformation are among the themes Zeki explores in his works. The artist has opened a number of solo exhibitions and displayed his works in numerous national and international groups shows and fairs. As the second runner-up in the Second Antalya Painting Festival, the artist’s works are preserved in private collections. Having completed the Master’s program in Art Theory and Critique at the Institute of Social Sciences in Işık University’s School of Fine Arts, Zeki continues to work out of his studio in İstanbul.
