- Get them to identify the characters in the picture and talk about about relationship.Tell sts that they are going to read in order to get the information and write the missing word in sentences 1,2,3,4 and 5..

- Ask sts to read individually and complete the text.Monitor the activity and give help when

necessary.

- Pairwork or groupwork.Sts trade their answers within pairs or groups for correction.

4. Let’s sing:

- Put the piece of paper with the rhyme A Happy familly from page 11 written on it on the board.Tell sts that vthey are going to sing a rhyme.

- Play the recording through for sts to repeat each line of the chantlisten and mime the rhyme.

- Play the recording again and get sts to sing the whole the chant with the recording.

- Call on some sts to sing the chant in front of the class.The rest of the class sing along with

- Replay the recording again,pausing after each line for sts to repeat.

- Have the whole class repeat all the phrases a few times to reinforce their pronunciation.

- Divide class into two groups.Ask one group to repeat Tom’s part and the other Mai’s part
