each state represent the a,ount of children less than five &ears of ageaout of the total

population. 'he legend gives each color a percentage range based off of real data values

for the nu,ber of children less than five &ears of age as co,pared to the total population

within the states. 'he legend seperates the values into five classes. 'he range for the

classes are different. 'he first class has a range of .6F@ the second class has a range of

;.F@ the third class has a range of ;.F@ the fourth class has a range of 1F@ and the fifth

class has an unnown range.

large cities have a ver& high value of children while others have a ver& low value.
