Different Denomination Detection Function

9

⇒ Through this function the size of the first counted note is memorized and if a note whose size is different from thememorized value is detected, the machine will stop. (While the GFB800 series machines detect size differencewidthwise, the GFB900 series detect size difference both widthwise and lengthwise.)

Setting of DD detection function

1. Press the DD key to set to the “DD detection function”☆DD Lamp will be lit.

NOTE:Difference between note sizes of different denominations isdetected by checking the width of each note to be counted. The machine is set up so that it can detect notes of differentdenomination when the size difference is 5mm or more.

2. When the machine stops after detecting a differentdenomination note, remove the detected notefrom the Stacker and press the RESTART KEY toresume counting.

Clearing memory of a denomination

■In case the Addition Lamp is not lit !Remove the notes from the Stacker. The memorizedvalue will be cleared when the number on theCounting Number Display becomes “0”.

NOTE:

①Notes of other denominations are detected by difference in size between various denominations bychecking the width of each note to be counted. The machine is set at the time of shipment from factoryso that it can detect the size difference 5 mm or more. This limit of 5 mm can be reduced to 3 mm, if necessary, by contacting a Glory representative for thismodification.

②One/two is subtracted from the counted number when “dd” / “dd2” is displayed on the Batch NumberDisplay respectively. It is also possible to set a mode to subtract nothing from the displayed number.

③If this function is activated while the counting speed 1800 notes/min is selected, the counting speed willbe automatically changed to 1500 notes/min.
