thy daily stage of duty run;

放棄怠惰，早起剛強，歡然獻祭在此清晨。Shake off dull sloth and joyful rise

to pay thy morning sacrifice.

And with the angels bear thy part,

他們一夜未曾歇息，不斷向神讚美、歌謳。Who all night long unwearied sing

high praise to the eternal King.
