In addition, Manzanillo is connected by the 4 lane Manzanillo-Guadalajara

highway. This allows a �uid connection with the rest of the county.

The geographical proximity and the excellent conditions of railroads are another key feature that helps the Ports infrastructure. Manzanillo works with Ferromex, the largest railroad network in Mexico covering over 80% of the country.

The Port of Manzanillo is connected by railroad to 3 ports in the Paci�c, 3 in the Gulf of Mexico and all the railroad networks in the United States and Canada inclusive.

Actualmente funciona como patio regulador de autotransporte.• Localización: 3.2 km. al noreste del Puerto de Manzanillo.• Superficie total: 74.22 hectáreas, que incluyen áreas para carga contenerizada, áreas verdes y vialidades.• Descripción: Zona especializada en actividades de almacena-miento y distribución de carga, con servicios de transporte, logística y distribución de mercancías para el tránsito nacional e internacional. El proyecto observa que el área sea un recinto Fiscalizado Estratégico (RFE). • La ZAL se conectará al Puerto de Manzanillo a través de una vialidad confinada de 3.2 km y que contará con 4 carriles, será parte del proyecto de modernización de la carretera a Jalipa, con una ampliación hasta de 8 carriles, lo que contribuirá a una mejor conectividad.

Currently operates as a truck yard controller• Located: 3.2 km northeast of Port of Manzanillo.• Total Area: 74.22 hectares, which include areas for containerized cargo, green areas and streets.• Description: The area is meant to be an Strategic Bonded Warehouse. Counts with transportation services, logistics and merchandise distribution for domestic and international transit. The project shows that the area to be a Strategic Audit Venue (RFE).• It will be a Bonded Venue• ZAL will be connected to the Port of Manzanillo by a 3.2 km highway that currently consists of 4 lanes and is projected to be widening to 8 lanes as part of the Jalipa highway project. This will contribute to a much better connectivity.

La protección y seguridad en el puerto de manzanillo se constituye como un sistema integral, diseñado para salvaguardar la integridad de las personas, instalaciones, mercancías y operaciones Marítimo - Portuarias, en apego al Código Internacional para la Protección de los Buques y de las Instalaciones Portuarias (Código PBIP), apoyado con la implementación de tecnología de vanguardia integrada por Cámaras de Circuito Cerrado de Televisión (CCTV), Sistema de Control de Accesos y equipo táctico para el personal.

Safety and security are top priorities at the Port of Manzanillo. To provide the security and safety of the people, facilities, merchandise and shipping operations the Port fallows the International Code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities (ISPS Code). Security is supported by advanced technology: Camera Surveillance Systems, Access Control System and a Tactical Team.

曼萨尼约港的安全被打造成为一个结合安全和保安的综合系统。其主要设计目标为: 提供人员丶设施丶商品和航运业务的安全性和完整性－其港口符合国际船舶保安及港口设施（ ISPS规则）规则，藉由实施先进的技术，结合了摄像头闭路电视（CCTV ），门禁系统和物理安全性的工作人员个人战术装备，来支持提高港口安全性的计划。

Aunado a esto, se cuenta con coordinación directa con los O�ciales de Protección de las Terminales Marítimas y con las autoridades concurrentes en el puerto, con las que se determinan las medidas adicionales necesarias para incrementar la seguridad sin afectar al �ujo comercial internacional, dentro de las diferentes autoridades se pueden mencionar a la Capitanía de Puerto Regional de Manzanillo, Aduana de Manzanillo, el Centro Uni�cado para la Atención a Incidentes Marítimos y Portuarios (CUMAR), y las creadas recientemente Unidades Navales de Protección Portuaria (UNAPROP).

Security at the Port of Manzanillo is a multi-jurisdictional responsibility. The Port takes a leadership role in the development of strategies to mitigate security risks in the port complex, working closely with multiple partners, both public and private, to plan and coordinate security measures. The port is coordinated with: Security of�cers from the Port Terminals, the Harbor Master Of�cer, Manzanillo Custom of�cers, the Center of Maritime and Port Incidents (CUMAR), and the newly created Naval Unit Specialized in Port Security (UNAPROP).
