OPERACIÓN INICIAL

Primero,asegúresedequelaherramientaestáajustadaalvasooaccesoriorequeridoparallevaracabolaoperación.Asegúresedequelapestañadecambiodesentidodereversibilidadestáenlaposicióncorrectaparaapretaroaflojareltornillo.Cuandolaherramientasedetiene,elmangodelaherramientasepudeusarcomolapalancadecarracaparadarelaprieterequeridoalaunión.Sepudeaflojarlaunióninvirtiendoelsentidodelapestaña.

SUMINISTRO DE AIRE

Sedebeemplearunairelimpioylubricadoconunapresiónde90PSIconelgatillototalmentepulsado.Empleeunamangueradetamañoylongitudapropiados.Esrecomendablequelaherramienta

estéconectadaalsuministrodeairecomosemuestraenlafiguraA.Noconectelaherramientaalsistema de aire sin incorporar una válvula de acoplamiento. Para mantener el suministro limpio y elairelubricadoalapresióncorrectadelamáquina,serecomiendaemplearunfiltro-regulador-lubricanteenlínea(FRL),comosemuestreenlafiguraA.ParaobtenermásdetallesdelFRLsolicitelainformaciónasuproveedor.Encasodenoempleardichoequipo,laherramientadeberíalubricarsecortandoelsuministrodeaire,eliminandolapresióndelalíneapresionandoelgatillo.Acontinuacióndesconectelalíneadeaireeintroduzcaenlaentradadelreductorunpoco(5ml)deunaceitelubricantedemotorneumáticoadecuado,preferiblementeincorporandouninhibidordeoxido.Vuelvaaconectarlaherramientaalsuministrodeaireyaccionelentamentelaherramientaduranteunossegundosparapermitirlacirculacióndeaceite.Silaherramientaseusademanerafrecuente,oempiezaaperderpotenciaeirmáslenta,lubríqueladiariamente.

REGLAS DE SEGURIDAD PARA HERRAMIENTA DE AIRE

cambiarlosaccesorios.4) Empleemanguerasyaccesoriosapropiados.Nousenuncaacoplamientosdecambio

rápidoacopladosalaherramienta.Enlugardeeso,coloquelamanguerayelacoplamientoentrelaherramientayelsuplementodeaire.LaconexiónrecomendablesemuestraenlafiguraA.Lasherramientasneumáticasoperanenunampliorangodepresionesdeaire.Paraunaeficienciamáximayunavidadelaherramientamayor,lapresióndelairesuministradaaestasherramientasnodeberíanexcederelíndiceenPSIenlaherramientacuandoestáoperando.Empleandouníndicedepresiónmayorpodríaacelerarsudesgasteyacortaríademaneradrásticalavidaútildelaherramienta.Tambiénunapresióndeairealtanoesrecomendable.Eldiámetrointernodelamangueradeberíaincrementarseparacompensarmanguerasinusualesdetamañomayor(porencimade25pies).Eldiámetromínimodelamangueradeberíaserde3/8”I.D.ylosaccesoriosdeberíantenerlasmismasdimensionesinteriores.Esrecomendableelusodelubricadoresdelíneasdeaireyfiltrosdelíneasdeaireparapreveniraguaenlalíneaquepuededañarlaherramienta.Dreneeltanquedeaireadiario.Limpielarejilladelaentradadelfiltrodeairealmenossemanalmentepararetirarlasuciedadacumuladaocualquierotracosaquepudierarestringirelflujodeaire.

SERVICIO DE MANTENIMIENTO

Esextremadamenterecomendableadoptarydirigirunprogramadeservicioregularparatodaslasherramientasdepotencia.Conunmantenimientoregular,seaseguraunciclodevidamayor,unapotenciaóptimaysereducenlosgastosdeoperación.Lasreparacionesdelasherramientasdeairetienenquellevarseacaboporespecialistascualificadosyporestablecimientosdeservicioautorizados.Porestarazón,insistimosquenoesrecomendablellevaracaboreparacionessisecarecedelosconocimientosnecesarios.Viertaunacantidadabundantedeaceiteparaherramientasneumáticasenlaentradadeaire.Silaherramientacontinúaatascada,debeseratendidoporuncentrodeserviciosautorizado.Silaoperaciónnopuederestablecerse,laherramientadeberíaserrevisadaporelfabricanteoporuncentrodeserviciosautorizado.

WORk STATIONS

Thetoolshouldonlybeusedasahandheldhandoperatedtool.Itisalwaysrecommendedthatthetoolisusedwhenstandingonthesolidfloor.Itcanbeusedinotherpositionsbutbeforeanysuchuse,theoperatormustbeinasecurepositionhavingafirmgripandfootingandbefullyawarethatwhenlooseningfastenersthetoolcanmovequitequicklyawayfromthefastenerbeingundone.Anallowancemustalwaysbemadeforthisbackwardmovementsoastoavoidthepossibilityofanyhand/arm/bodyentrapment.

INITIAL OPERATION

Fitsecurelytothetoolthesocketorattachmentrequiredtoperformtheoperation.Ensurethatthereversebuttonsituatedontheoppositesidetothesquaredriveoutputshaftisinthecorrectpositionfortighteningorlooseningthefastener.Thenut/boltcanthenrundownthethreadusingthepowerdriveofthetool.Whenthetoolstopsthehandleofthetoolcanbeusedasaratchetleverandoperatedtogivetherequiredtightnessofthejoint.Forlooseningajointthetoolcanbeusedinthereversesequence.

AIR SUPPLY

Useacleanlubricatedairsupplythatwillgiveameasuredairpressureatthetoolof90PSIwiththetriggerfullydepressed.Userecommendedhosesizeandlength.Itisrecommendedthatthetoolisconnectedtotheair

supplyasshowninfigureA.Donotconnectthetooltotheairlinesystemwithoutincorporatinganeasytoreachand

operatedshutoffvalve.Itisstronglyrecommendedthatanairfilter,regulator,lubricator(FRL)isusedasshowninfigure

Aasthiswillsupplyclean,lubricatedairatthecorrectpressuretothetool.Detailsofsuchequipmentcanbeobtainedfrom

yoursupplier.Ifsuchequipmentisnotusedthenthetoolshouldbelubricatedbyshuttingofftheairsupplytothetool,depressurising

thelinebypressingthetriggeronthetool.Disconnecttheairlineandpourintotheintakebushingateaspoon(5ml)ofasuitable

pneumaticmotorlubricatingoilpreferablyincorporatingarustinhibitor.Reconnecttooltoairsupplyandruntoolslowlyforafewseconds

toallowairtocirculatetheoil.Iftoolisusedfrequentlylubricateondailybasisandiftoolstartstosloworlosepower.

SAFETY RULES FOR AIR TOOLS

1)Inspecttheairhoseforcracksorotherproblems.Replacethehoseifworn.2)Neverpointanairhoseatanotherperson.3)Disconnectthetoolwhennotinuse,orbeforeperformingserviceorchangingaccessories.4)Useproperhosesandfittings.Neverusequick-changecouplingsattachedatthetool.Instead,

addahoseandcouplingbetweenthetoolandtheairsupply.Therecommendedhook-upisshowninfigureA.Pneumatictoolsoperateonawiderangeofairpressures.Formaximumefficiencyand

longertoollife,thepressureoftheairsuppliedtothesetoolsshouldnotexceedtheratedPSIatthetoolwhenthetoolisrunning.Usingahigherthanratedpressurewillcausefasterwearanddrasticallyshortenthetool’slife.

Ahigherairpressurecanalsocauseanunsafecondition.Theinsidediameterofthehoseshouldbeincreasedtocompensateforunusuallylongairhoses(over25feet).Minimumhosediametershouldbe3/8”I.D.andfittingsshouldhavethesameinsidedimensions.Theuseofairlinelubricatorsandairlinefiltersisrecommendedtopreventwaterinthelinethatcandamagethetool.Draintheairtankdaily.Cleantheairinletfilterscreenonatleastaweeklyscheduletoremoveaccumulateddirtorothermatterthatcanrestrictairflow.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

Itisstronglyrecommendedthataregularserviceprogrammeforallairpoweredtoolingbeadoptedandmanaged,asreqularlymaintainedairtoolsensurealonglifecycle,optimalpowerandreducedoperatingexpenses.Repairsofairtoolsshouldbecarriedoutbytrainedspecialistsandauthorizedservicedealers.Forthisreason,westrictlyadviseagainstattemptingtorepairwithoutthissupport.Pouraliberalamountofairtooloilinairinlet.Iftoolremainsjammed,itshouldbeservicedbyanauthorizedserviceCenter.Ifoperationcannotberestored,toolshouldbecheckedbythefabricantoranauthorizedservicecenter.
