Federal Web-based reporting system

Assists State Administrative Agencies (SAAs) and Direct Tribal Grantees (DTGs) to meet all reporting requirements identified by the DHS FEMA Grant Programs Directorate (GPD)

Improves the accuracy and efficiency of Homeland Security’s annual award and biannual grant reporting.

Make sure to address the following: Who the project is for; Fusion Center, Emergency Operations Center, etc. What the project is doing; plans, equipment, training, exercise, etc. Where the project is performed; city, county, etc. When the project will start and end; the project needs to be within the period

of performance of the grant. Why the project is necessary or what the intended benefit will be.

Provide a clear name for the project.

Project descriptions should be Short, Precise, and Descriptive.

Do not need to be very detailed - Training or Exercise Milestones: Identify the Training or Exercise needs, Scheduled Training, etc. - Equipment Milestones: Identify the Equipment specifications, Solicit Vendor Bids, Procure Equipment, etc. - Planning Milestones: Conduct/Schedule Planning meetings, Draft Plans, etc. Limit to 4 milestones per project

Project Title: Active Shooter Full Scale Exercise. Project Description: The State of Statehood will conduct a multi-

jurisdictional, full-scale active shooter exercise in Winter 2019 at Stateliness H.S.; funds for this exercise will be associated with backfill and overtime costs to test communications and mass care service capabilities.

Milestones: 1) Create Exercise Plan by May, 2018 2) Complete EHP and submit to Cal OES for approval by June, 2018 3) Obtain documentation from participating agencies by April, 2019 4) Submit reimbursement to Cal OES by May, 2019
