Bardolino

Piccolo e caratteristico paese al centro della “Riviera degli olivi”, è uno dei luoghi più incantevoli del lago. È famoso in tutto il mondo per la produzione del vino “Bardolino”, un rosso rubino o chiaretto, profumato e vigoroso, che nasce sulle colline dell’entroterra, punto di partenza ideale per passeggiate ed escursioni. Un percorso suggestivo, debitamente segnalato, si snoda attraverso i paesi di produzione del vino (viene infatti denominato “Strada del Vino Bardolino”) e consente di ammirare un paesaggio ricco di lussureggianti vigneti, ma anche di storia ed arte, testimoniate dalla presenza di numerose ville e chiese romaniche.

Liegt in einem Golf zwischen den Lidos Mirabello und Cornicello umgeben von Hügeln, die mit Olivenhainen bewachsen sind. Bekannt ist Bardolino vor allem wegen seines hellroten, leichten Rotweins. Zugleich ist der Ort eines der beliebtesten Ferienziele am Gardasee. Bardolino hat eine schöne Altstadt, die mit ihrem malerischen Hafen und den winkligen Gassen zum Bummeln und Verweilen einlädt. Eine eindrucksvolle Weinstraße (die Weinstraße des “Bardolino”) führt durch die verschiedenen Ortschaften und Dörfer des Anbaugebietes. Es handelt sich um eine Fahrt durch Weinberge, Landgüter, Villen der letzten Jahrhunderte, romanische Kirchen und Burgen.

At the center of the “Riviera degli olivi” (Olive Riviera), in a lovely gulf, Bardolino is one of the most enchanting places on the lake. It is famous world wide for the production of the “Bardolino” wine, a young, fresh and inviting wine, ruby red or claret in colour, excellent as a table wine. The “Bardolino” Wine Association has prepared a suggested route, properly marked out, through the villages and localities of production. It is a journey not only admist luxuriant vineyards and old farms in which winemaking is carried out using traditional methods, but also through the history and art, villas of the past centuries, romanesque churches and castles.

The hotel enjoys an enviable position guaranteeing peace and quiet. It is situated between Garda and Bardolino, directly on the lake and is ideal for both those wishing for a relaxing holiday and for those who enjoy sports. Svegliarsi in una camera dell’Hotel Sportsman, accarezzati dalla fresca brezza mattutina e abbracciati dalla luce del sole, è come immergersi in una dimensione di armonia sublime. Le camere elegantemente arredate, spaziose e confortevoli, alcune con balcone e vista lago ideali per i momenti di pace e relax lontani dallo stress quotidiano. Tutte le stanze, sono fornite di bagno con doccia e WC, accappatoio, teli spiaggia, pantofole, phon, telefono a selezione diretta, TV color con programmi via satellite, internet-television, radio, minibar, safe, aria condizionata. Singole, doppie, matrimoniali e triple per qualunque esigenza dei nostri graditi ospiti. Le Junior Suite sono particolarmente spaziose e confortevoli.

THE ROOMS. It is indeed a pleasure to wake-up in one of the rooms at the Hotel Sportsman: some have lakeview, balconies or terrace. The rooms are elegantly furnished and are spacious and comfortable and an ideal place to relax. All the rooms which are easily reached by lift have bathrooms with shower and wc, bathrobe, slippers, beach towels, hairdryer, directline phone, satellite TV, internet-television, radio, minibar, safe, air-conditioning. Rooms available include twins, doubles (some single use) and triples to meet all the requirements of our guests. The Junior-suites also have a comfortable living area.

Magical atmosphere

Con stupenda vista sulla passeggiata pedonale e sul lago, propone cucina mediterranea e regionale rivisitata, raffinati menù degustazione di pesce nonché cucina vegetariana per soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta dei nostri ospiti utilizzando prodotti locali e regionali. Il tutto servito in un’atmosfera rilassante e piacevole in cui ognuno si sentirà un ospite davvero speciale. Ampia lista vini dove scegliere, assieme al nostro maitre, il vino migliore per accompagnare i vostri piatti. Al mattino con la bella stagione la ricca e prelibata colazione a buffet viene servita in giardino o sulla nuova terrazza della Villa adiacente l’Hotel. La suggestiva atmosfera creata dal contrasto dei tavoli preparati per la prima colazione con il verde rigoglioso del giardino rendono ogni risveglio piacevole e privilegiato.

Al calar del sole il giardino si illumina creando un’atmosfera suggestiva e un ambiente unico ed intimo, dove godere della fresca brezza serale.

RESTAURANT. With wonderful views over the lake-path and lake the restaurant offers a superb mediterranean and local cuisine including delicious fish and vegetarian dishes. Meals are served in a relaxing and pleasurable atmosphere where every guest is a special guest. An impressive wine-list accompanies the menu and please dont hesitate to ask our head-waiter which wines he suggests to compliment your meal.

In fine weather a rich breakfast buffet will be served in the garden or on the new terrace of the villa next-door to the hotel, a pleasurable way to start your day.

In the evening the garden is lit-up creating a magical and beautiful atmosphere.

DAS RESTAURANT. Das Restaurant - mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Wasserpromenade und den See - bietet regionale und mediterranee Gerichte, Verkostungen von raffinierten Fischmenüs, vegetarische Menüs, alles mit örtlichen und regionalen Produkten zubereitet und genügt somit allen Ansprüchen unserer Gäste.

Morgens wird das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet im Garten oder auf der neuen Terrasse der angrenzenden Villa serviert.

BEACH AND POOL. The position of the hotel means that it could not be easier to reach the private sandy beach where you will find sunbeds, cushions and umbrellas. We also provide a bar-service on the beach and you can hire motor-boats or sailing boats at an extra charge.

The hotel swimming pool is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas for you to relax and enjoy the sun.

STRAND UND SWIMMINGPOOL. Das Hotel Sportsman bietet einen Privatstrand mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen, wo man sich entspannen und einen Drink von der Bar geniessen kann.

Zur Verfügung stehen auch eine Bootsanlegestelle mit Bojen für Motorboote oder Segelboote (geg. Gebühr).

Weiters gibt es einen schönen Pool mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen zum Relaxen.

La posizione dell’Hotel Sportsman permette l’accesso alla spiaggia riservata, di sabbia, attrezzata di sdraio, materassini e ombrelloni. Ideale per prendere il sole e rilassarsi sorseggiando un cocktail del bar.

A pochi metri dall’albergo e collegata a quest’ultimo tramite un passaggio pedonale coperto, è stata completamente ristrutturata una graziosa villa, da cui sono state ricavate 20 camere eleganti, spaziose e confortevoli. Tutte sono dotate di bagno con vasca e doccia, WC, accappatoio, teli spiaggia, pantofole, phon, telefono, TV color con programmi via satellite, internet-television, minibar, safe, balcone e aria condizionata. Le Junior Suite sono particolarmente spaziose e confortevoli.

Just a few metres from the hotel, connected with a covered pedestrian passage, a charming villa has been completely restored creating 20 elegant, spacious and comfortable bedrooms. All equipped with satellite TV, internet-television, minibar, safe, telephone. Bathroom with bathtub and shower, bathrobe, slippers, beach towels, hairdryer, air conditioning and balcony. The junior suites have also a living corner.

Eine überdachte Passage von nur 10 m verbindet die Villa mit dem Hotel.
