How would you like to have been

made mention of in

the Bible?

“I implore Euodia and I

implore Syntyche to

be of the same mind in

the Lord.” Philippians 4:2

Ouch! Didn’t turn out so

well for these two women!

Unity doesn’t just happen!

It’s made to happen!

It takes work!

Psalms 133:1

“Behold, how good and

pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!”

Romans 12:16

“Live inharmony with one another.”

1 Corinthians 1:10

“I appeal to you, brothers, by the

name of our Lord Jesus

Christ, that all of you agree…

…and that there be no divisions among you, but

that you be united in the

same mind and the same

judgment.”

Ephesians 1:1-6

1 “I, therefore, the prisoner of

the Lord, beseech you to walk

worthy of the calling with which you were called…

…with all lowliness and

gentleness, with longsuffering,

bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to

keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

…There is one body and one

Spirit, just as you were called in one

hope of your calling; 5 one

Lord, one faith, one baptism;

…one God and Father of all, who is above all, and

through all, and in you all.”

Solution

Colossians 3:12-13

“Therefore, as the elect of God,

holy and beloved, put on tender mercies,

kindness…

…humility, meekness,

longsuffering; bearing with one

another, and forgiving one

another…

…if anyone has a complaint

against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must

do.”

I purposely chose these background slides with hands on them to

remind us that Church

Unity is in our hands!

May it be so within our hearts and within our worship,

ministry and fellowship!

A CommitmentBecause I love Jesus and His Church, I will seek to be a

source of Unity in my

church. I know there

are not perfect…

A Commitment

…church members,

staff or pastors,

but neither am I. One of the greatest

contributions I can make is…

A Commitment

…to do all I can in God’s

power to help keep the church in

Unity for the sake of the gospel and

the Lord Jesus Christ!
