NOTICE

HSBC MUTUAL FUND In order to bring the uniformity in the practice across Mutual Funds and to standardize the scheme categories and characteristics of schemes, SEBI vide its circular no. SEBI/HO/IMD/DF3/CIR/P/2017/114 dated October 06, 2017 read with circular no. SEBI/HO/IMD/DF3/CIR/P/2017/126 dated December 04, 2017, has issued guidelines for categorization and rationalization of Mutual Fund schemes. Accordingly, a proposal for categorization of schemes of HSBC Mutual Fund (‘HMF’) in line with the aforesaid Circulars was submitted to SEBI and SEBI vide its letter dated January 02, 2018 has taken note of the same. As per the said proposal, there will be changes in the fundamental attributes of the below mentioned schemes:

1. HSBC Equity Fund; 2. HSBC Midcap Equity Fund; 3. HSBC Infrastructure Equity Fund; 4. HSBC Ultra Short Term Bond Fund 5. HSBC Income Fund – Short Term Plan & Investment Plan; 6. HSBC Monthly Income Plan; 7. HSBC Emerging Markets Fund; and 8. HSBC Managed Solutions - Growth Plan, Moderate Plan & Conservative Plan.

The changes in the above mentioned schemes shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 and guidelines and any other directives/ provisions in this regard, within 3 months from the date of SEBI letter i.e. January 02, 2018. This notice is given pursuant to SEBI circular no. MFD/CIR No.4/216/2001 dated May 08, 2001, as amended from time to time.
