This example assumes that the network topology and microwave links have been configured.
Networ*ing +iagram
Tail-end sites on the network transmit base station services by using point-to-point
transparently transmitted E-Line services.
"onfiguration Procedure
In this example, transparently transmitted E-Line services are configured for only one E
and therefore can only be configured on a per-E basis.
Networ*ing +iagramTail-end sites on the network transmit base station services by using point-to-point transparently
transmitted E-Line services.
!s shown in the following figure, E" is a terminal station of a backhaul network. The service
re#uirements are as follows$
E" must transparently transmit the Ethernet services from the ode% to E& in point-to-
point manner.
'()* flags must be used to identify the priorities of the Ethernet services from the ode%s.
To meet the preceding re#uirements, point-to-point transparently transmitted E-line services are
configured and a +o( policy is configured for the services.

Encapsulation type ull or point-to-point transparently

*ort working mode !uto-negotiation In this example, the /E port
on the ode% works in auto-negotiation mode. Therefore,
the peer /E port must alsowork in auto-negotiation
mode. If a peer Ethernet port
work in another mode, thelocal Ethernet port must work
in the same mode.
The working modes of the
Ethernet ports within the
backhaul network are
uniformly planned as auto-negotiation.
0ax frame length "123 In this example, to ensure that the
Ethernet frames that carry more thanone tag such as +in+ can traverse the
e#uipment, the maximum framelength is set to "123 bytes. If the
e#uipment needs to transmit 4umbo

the actual length of a 4umbo frame.

interconnected with %T(s, retain thedefault maximum frame length "1&&bytes.
low control 'isabled /enerally, the flow control function
is enabled only when an E or thepeer e#uipment is inade#uate for +o(
processing. The plan for flow control
must be the same for the e#uipmentat both ends.

!& has three sub-classes$ !&", !&&, and !&2. In this example, !&" is used.
The same goes with !2.
The mapping of the default 'iff(erv domain complies with the network planning
