アルプスの美しい自然と華やかな芸術が色づく中欧の国、 オーストリア。実は、今年は当時のオーストリアと日本とが正式に国交を結んでから150周年の節目に当たる年です。 みなさんも、ぜひ五感でオーストリアを体験してみませんか？ 当日は日墺協会によるオーストリアの芸術・文化についての プレゼンテーションやオーストリア出身留学生から見た日常生活やドイツ語・オーストリア方言についての紹介、また早大ピアノの会によるリストの『愛の夢』と『ラ・カンパネラ』の演奏、ヴァイオリニストをお招きしての『サウンド・オブ・ミュージック』ゆかりの楽曲演奏の特別ステージもあります！そして、交流タイムでは先着100名に南チロル地方の伝統料理の試食も！ 「汝幸いなる早大生たちよ、オーストリアにゆけ。」

The Central European country of Austria, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Alps. This year is actually the 150th anniversary of relations between Japan and Austria and this ICC event will introduce some of the beauty of Austria to you! The event includes a presentation by The Japan-Austria Society about Austrian art and culture and there will also be presentations by Waseda students from Austria about the daily life in Austria and a mini lesson of Austrian-German dialect. After that there will be a piano performance by the Waseda Piano Society, and we will also have a performance of a medley from "The Sound of Music" by a special guest violinist. Also, during the cafe mixing time, there will be food from the South Tyrol region for about 100 participants from the restaurant "Miwatei" !

The event includes a presentation by The Japan-Austria Society about Austrian art and culture and there will also be presentations by Waseda students from Austria about the daily life in Austria and a mini lesson of Austrian-German dialect. After that there will be a performance of the great Austro-Hungarian composer Franz Liszt's "Liebestraume" and "La campanella" by the Waseda Piano Society. We will also have a performance of a medley from "The Sound of Music" by special guest violinist.
