References Just received.. This reference was received in the form of a draft on email… I have worked with Nick Taylor over a number of years, firstly in the UK and director and partner in a retail design and build company employing approx 60 people. In this company Nick assisted me in visualising all my concepts and preparing layouts using AutoCAD. Our Client base was UK and European. This roll was for approx 2 years. Then after taking on the roll of head of retail design for the Rockport (part of the Reebok group) shoe company in the USA. Nick worked with me for approx. three years. Again although he was based in the UK we worked on a daily basis; where Nick would computer render and assist in the design of ALL my concept work. Over a further two and half years we worked on approx 3000 concepts for display and POP as well as showrooms and retail stand alone stores. After forming my own design business on a global scale, Nick again rendered all my concepts, and worked on store layouts, trade show booths and just about any thing I could throw at him. In my opinion Nick is a very talented and inventive individual, he works well under pressure and isa pleasure to deal with. Billing practice Determined based, in part, upon discussion and requirements of the Client. But typically… Based on long-term relationships. Hourly rate is $xx CAD, daily rate (business) is $xxx CAD. A business day constitutes 8 hours, travelling is also considered time used. Additional hours worked, within any 24 hour period, on top of the business day will be charged at the standard hourly rate. Any specific supplies, bulk documentation, travel or other miscellaneous expenses items suppliedor incurred specifically at the request of Client or during activities directly related to activities carried out on behalf of the Client, or by other agreement, will be detailed and charged separatelyon a monthly basis. Terms for such charges are 14 days. Standard terms are, 14 days for new clients first invoice and 30 days there after. Pro-forma invoices will be proposed for new clients and high value projects, these are payable within 7 days. Should you wish to make an alternate proposal, this is welcome for discussion.
