Intermech Sealing Solutions (Pty) Ltd was established in early 1997, supplying fluid sealing and engineered products for both static and rotating applications. Based in Springs Gauteng, products are produced for distribution in South Africa and for international export. Enhancing the locally produced products, the company has secured sole agency privileges from large internationally recognized companies for representation in the Southern African region.
Company management assumes a continuous product improvement and expansion attitude. We offer the following products in standard as stocked items or as special order manufacture:
FLUID SEALING
Range of gland packing styles, offering various braiding configurations and fibres, to specific requests.
Slade™ Gland Packing: unique 99% graphite product offering leak‐free and flush‐less pump operation, and independently tested emission control benefits in valve installations
offers exceptional performance in high temperature and pressure services
Corrugated metal technology providing the tightest sealing gasket at the lowest bolt load as tested and verified by independent test facilities.
Graftec™ Gasket: comprising a 316SS metal core encapsulated with expanded graphite for use in high temperature and pressure as well as general service applications
Teftec Gasket: comprising a 316 SS metal corrugated gasket laminated with expanded PTFE for use in high oxidising applications
Auxiliary Products:
Mechanical Seals – imported stocks coupled to specific customer demands
Packing Extractors ‐ highly efficient extraction tool; long flexible shank to gain access to glands in difficult positions and replaceable screw‐end
