General Imformation of the Symposium (ICDCS 2016)
The Symposium
This event is a consecutive International Conference on Durability of Concrete Structure (ICDCS) , initialized in Zhejiang University in 2008 and has been successfully organized by
Hokkaido University (2010), Queen’s University Belfast (2012) and Purdue University (2014). The Shenzhen University (SZU) will take the relay to organize the 5th meeting in Jun
30, 2016. It focuses on bringing together international experts on the durability of concrete structures to share their experience and achievements, meanwhile, discuss the problems,
so the future challenges on the issues of concrete durability can be properly addressed.
Shenzhen University
Shenzhen University (SZU) was founded as a public university on May 10, 1983 with the accreditation of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and has undergone
rapid growth and expansion in the past three decades. SZU offers multi-level degrees with its 25 colleges, providing 80 undergraduate programs, over 100 master programs, and
9 doctoral programs. The studying major at SZU ranges from philosophy, literature, economics, management, law, education, sciences, medicine, engineering, arts, and history.
Today, SZU has become a widely recognized multi-discipline university both at home and abroad and strives to be a leading innovative university with an international profile.
