An issue with the school was bothering me and I decided to focus on that using my interests and skills.

For one of my 5 x 5 projects, I did a ‘mind roll’. I wrote down my thoughts and ideas for my thesis on a roll paper.

Starting point & the problem: Lack of collaboration at The New School

INTERESTED AND CONTACT THE ARTIST TO HELP { }

Test: I asked few people to write down their ‘dream projects’ on a sketchbook page, and then I took their portraits.

My first idea was to make cards, with a photo on one side and the sketchbook page on the other side. And connecting them with a ring to give them a ‘catalog’ look.

But then I got bored of this idea very quickly.

So now, I have this idea of folded cards. The participants would directly write down their ideas on matte, textured cards and I would attach their photos on the cover of them. This way, the connection between ‘the person with the idea’ and ‘the person with the skills’, would be kept raw and personal. All these cards would be placed in something

to keep them together, and not messy. Also, when displaying the final product, there would be blank cards and a polaroid camerafor new project additions, and a computer or an IPad to send emails to the artists. It’s a very basic and simple execution for a big concept, which I think is a good start for further developments of the execution.
