ဂပန္နိုင္ငံ လက္ရိွပညာေရး စနစ္ ဂပန္၏ ပညာေရးအား 6-3-3-4 စနစ္ဟု သိႀကသည္။ Elementary ၆နွစ္၊ Lower secondary ၃နွစ္၊ Upper secondary ၃နွစ္၊ ဘြ႕ႀကိတကၠသိုလ္ပညာေရး ၄နွစ္ၿဖစ္သည္။ မသင္မေနရ အခမ႕ပညာေရးသည္ Lower secondary ၿပီးဆံုးသည္ အထိၿဖစ္သည္။ Lower secondary ၿပီးဆံုးခိန္တြင္ ေကာင္းသားသည္ အသက္အားၿဖင္႔ ၁၅နွစ္ခန္႔၊ အတန္းအားၿဖင္႔ ၉တန္းၿဖစ္သၿဖင္႔ ၿမန္မာၿပည္အတန္းပညာေရးနွင္႔ နႈိင္းယွဥ္လင္ အလယ္တန္းပညာေရးထက္ၿမင္႔သည္။ ဂပန္ အေၿခခံဥပေဒတြင္ မသင္မေနရ အခမ႕ပညာေရးနွင္႔ပတ္သက္၍ - “All people shall be obligated to have all boys and girls under their protection receive ordinary education as provided for by law. Such compulsory education shall be free.” (Article 26). မိမိအုပ္ထိန္းမႈေအာက္တြင္ရိွေသာ ကေလးမားသည္ မသင္မေနရ ပညာေရးအား သင္ႀကားခြင္႔ရရန္ အုပ္ထိန္းသူမားတြင္ တာ၀န္ရိွသည္ဟု တာ၀န္အပိုင္းနွင္႔ပတ္သက္၍ အတိအလင္းေဖၚၿပထားသည္။ ထို႕ေႀကာင္႔ ဂပန္နိုင္ငံတြင္ ပညာေရးသည္ “right” အခြင္႔အေရးၿဖစ္သလို၊ “obligation” တာ၀န္လၿဖစ္သည္။ မသင္မေနရ ပညာေရးအား သက္ဆိုင္ရာ ေဒသအစိုးရမားနွင္႔ နိုင္ငံေတာ္အစိုးရတို႕မွ အာမခံၿပီးပူးေပါင္းတာ၀န္ယူရသည္။ ပညာေရးအုပ္ခပ္မႈ ဖြ႕စည္းပံု (structure of education administration) ဂပန္နိုင္ငံပညာေရးအား တာ၀န္ခံရသည္႔အဖြ႕အစည္းမားမွာ - ဗဟိုအစိုးရအဆင္႔တြင္ Monbukagakusho ဟုသိႀကသည္႔ ပညာေရး၊ယဥ္ေကးမႈ၊ အားကစား၊ သိပၸံနွင္႔နည္းပညာ ၀န္ႀကီးဌာန၊ ေဒသအစိုးရအဆင္ ႔တြင္ -
