The annual general Assembly of the members of

the Society is convened on the first Sunday of Janu-

ary of every year at about 7 p. in., for the election

of the Board of Trustees and for the examination

for the handling of moneys of income and expenses

of the Society. Also a general regular Assembly

of the members of the Society is convened on the

first Sunday of July of every year at about 7 p. tn.

This Assembly of the members can replace the

Board of Trustees if it is proven that it exists at

the detriment of the Society. The President and

the Secretary of the Board of Trustees act accord-

day and hour, so all the members of the Society to

be notified to be present at the general regular

Assembly. The Assembly is considered in quorum

whenever the % (three-fourths) of the members

of the Society are present. Being no quorum, the

Assembly is postponed for eight days. The second

Assembly, after due summons of the members, is

considered in quorum regardless of the number of the

present members. After the Assembly is in quorum,

its first duty is the election of the twelve members

of the Board of Trustees by secret vote and rela-

tive majority. Until the definite election of the

Board of Trustees, the duties of the President and

Secretary are performed by the pre-existing such

officers. On the general regular Assembly of Janu-

ary, as well as of July, the statement of the condi-

tion of the treasury of the Society and its works

during the year is submitted by the Board of Trus-

tees; the report also of the examination committee

on the administration of the ending year of the
