intrinsically

safe

system

or

apparatus

is suítable

for

hazardous

area.

important

to

ensure

that

no

obvious damage

has

occurred during

installation.

The

quality

system

shall

preferably

be based

on

standards

and the

manufacturer

shall

demonstrate

compliance

by

providing

a copy

of

the

accredited

certificate

or

thè

manufacturer's

quality

manual.

Verification of the manufacturer's quality system

is

normally part

of

the

pre-qualification

procedure,

and

is

thereiore

not

detailed

in

the

core text

of this

Standard.
