Numerousinnovations create a machine with thehighest level of functionality and cost-effectiveness, to set a new benchmark.The drive system is the basis for itsextremely high cost-effectiveness -everything on the Cribus E is drivenelectrically, from the hopper to thedischarge belts.

This minimizes the energy, wear andservicing costs of the whole machine,backed up by the newly developed directdrum drive.The Cribus also offers compelling benefitsin servicing and operational safety. Cribus drum screensdemonstrate their talent forscreening when used forcomposting. Controllablehopper and drum rotationspeeds allow precise materialalignment. Overfilling ofthe drum is prevented by

load-dependent hoppercontrol. The efficient cleaningbrushes and uniquelygenerous clearance betweendrum and sidewalls preventscreen hole clogging, evenwith difficult materials. Astandard screen drum or adrum with exchangeablescreen segments can be usedfor screening, depending onrequirements.

Wood/biomass

Komptech drum screens arealso effective with high-bulkmaterial. Steep hopper sidesprevent bridging, and a wideconveyor with T-cleats feedsthe material into the drumreliably. The large feed cross-section prevents material

compression betweenhopper and screen drum sothat the entire drum lengthis used to full advantage, forefficient screening. Extendeddischarge belts allow for highpiles, and with a width ofup to 1000 mm there are noblockages on the conveyorbelt.

THE NEW BENCHMARKWith the largest screening surface forits overall length, the Cribus 2800 E setsthe standard in the compact class. Itslarge-diameter drum improves screeningperformance, and generous spacingbetween drum and sidewalls ensurestrouble-free screening even for coarsesizes. This plus the easy operation and

high economy of the Cribus 2800 E makeit perfect for a wide array of applications.

Contractors will appreciate the fact thatdue to the short length, a second drumcan be transported by one truck. The useof interchangeable screening segmentsof highly wear resistant spring steel isparticularly beneficial for multi-site use, asdifferent mesh sizes can be transportedwith the screening machine (available for

all types).

Despite being only 10.6 meters long, theCribus 2800 E boasts a screening areaof 28 m, made possible by the large2.2 meter drum diameter. This makesmaterial clumping between hopper anddrum a thing of the past, so that theCribus has a higher specific throughput(m per m screening area) thancompetitors.

Steep sidewalls and a wide hopper beltprevent material bridging and enablescreening of a broad spectrum ofmaterials. The large drum diameter andgenerous clearance to the sidewalls allowsmooth screening of fractions with largershapes and sizes, even with the 100 mmscreen hole size.

The new maintenance-free friction wheeldrive with the patented WHEELGRIP anti-slip technology gives maximum efficiencywith minimum the costs for wear andservicing, since there are no chains, gearsor additional bearings.

Just fold down the sidewall for full drumaccess. To change the drum, the operatorneeds only run the hopper out of thedrum, press a button to raise the drum,and then remove it with a fork loader or

hoist. Experienced operators can do it injust a few minutes.

The Cribus can be ordered with the finesdischarge conveyor installed on eitherside, without affecting functioning. Forusers who want to stay flexible, an optionis available that lets them switch the

discharge side on-site. The corrugatedbelt conveyor gives high performancewith low wear, and allows high materialpiles.

A drum diameter of 2200 mm and an effective screen length of5500 mm make the Cribus 3800 E currently the largest mobile drumscreen with central axle trailer. The large drum diameter and wideclearance to the sidewalls allow smooth screening of fractions withlarger shapes and sizes, even with large screen hole sizes. The drumlength gives good screening throughput and output quality.

To keep the Cribus E-series within statutory transport dimensions,the fine particle discharge belt is folded in next to the hopper fortransportation, and moved out to the working position next to thedrum with a patented movement mechanism.

A sturdy exterior shell, premium quality components, convenientoperation, high operational safety and numerous options make theCribus E a valuable tool for tough daily usage.

GO BIGThe Cribus 5000 E opens up a newdimension in drum screening.50 square meters of screening area alonga 7.7 meter long drum and a hopperholding over 6 cubic meters make itobvious who we designed this high-performance machine for - for userswho want high throughput with great

screening results, especially with smallhole sizes.

For that, there is no substitute fordrum length. But we did substitute thehydraulic drive - on this model, everythingis electric. That minimizes energy, wear,and maintenance costs, and makes thebig Cribus one of the most economicalmachines in its class.

The power for the electrical drives comesdirectly from the mains or is generated byan integrated diesel generator.

With small hole sizes (< 20 mm) inparticular, the length of the drum andits effective screening area becomecrucial factors. On its way through this7.7 m drum, all the material is thoroughlyscreened, with performance that is uniqueon the market.

Thanks to its fully electronic control, thisdrive design features the highest easeof use. The display mode shows theoperating status, and all functions areclearly visible and easily configurable.An automatic start-up and idling featuresimplifies starting, and load-dependenthopper control prevents overloading ofthe screen drum.

Despite its impressive size, the Cribusis easy to manoeuvre as a semitrailer.Operation and maintenance are alsosimple and convenient. The operatingpanel with graphic control, automated

starting and electric brush adjustment,plus options like hopper sensor control,remote control, hopper pre-screen andmore, make this machine exceptionallyoperator-friendly.

The hopper is sized to match the highscreening throughput. Its 6 m volumeand 4.7 meter loading length make foreasy loading with even large frontloaders.On the all-electric version without diesel

auxiliary generator, the space savedresults in a hopper volume over 8 m.
