Queens,NYCouncilman Koo announced that in Queens, he is planning to name a street in memory of comfort woman. The bill is not submitted yet as of May 2012 but his intention to gain Korean voters is movibated by the fact he won against Korean opponent by less than 800 votes.

クイーンズ（ニューヨーク市）ニューヨーク市議であるクー氏が通りの名前に慰安婦を冠する法案提出を示唆。クー氏は前回、韓国系の候補者に８００票弱の僅差で勝っており、議席保持のための活動と見られる。

VANKVoluntary Agency Network of Korea. Their slogan is "Discount Japan" which is Korea's one of Anti-Japan propaganda. The organization is promoting East Sea globally by using Internet. Most of members are in high school or even younger. Lycos, Google, National Geographic, and World Atlas uses "East Sea" as well "Japan Sea" because of their prpaganda.The organization notes they are NGO but it is reported they receive government fund and President Lee gives directions.

VANK1999～ソウルにある反日工作団体。ホームページにはボランティア団体であって政府とは関係がないとしているが、実際には李明博大統領から直接指示を受けており、予算も出ている。東海併記をネットで推し進め、やり方が過激なことからもサイバーテロリスト団とも呼ばれる。会員の多くが高校生以下。

Fabrication

Palisade Park, NJ In 2009, Mayor Rotundo allowed city to build a monument of comfort woman in a property of city library with tax payers money. The monument has fabricated information based on anti-Japan slogan.　　2009年　韓国人が多く居住するニュージャージー州パリセードパークに市税を使った慰安婦の碑が建てられ、２０１２年５月に自民党議員が数名訪れて撤去を要請。韓国系市議などの妨害に遭う。

バージニア州2012年１月に「バージニア州で使用される教科書に『東海』を併記せよ」という法案がマースデン下院議員（民主党バージニア州選出）から出された。１票差で否決されたものの、在バージニア韓国人協会は「今後もロビー活動を続けていく」という声明を出している。

VAIn January 2012, Annandale resident from Korean-American Association of VA had Senator Marsden (D VA37) to submit the bill which aimd to add "East Sea" as well as "Japan Sea" in the textbooks used in state of Virginia. The bill was rejected by only 1 vote but Korean group made an announcement to continue the effort until they see the change.

KAVC (Korea American Voter's Council) has changed its tactics to use members of Congress more since 2007. So far Rep. Steve Rothman (D New Jersey, 9th) and Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D New Jersey, 8tkh) have taken actions to reach IHO or USBGN but never demonstrate the evidence in public. KAVC also joins the event by groups of Holocaust survivors to beneft from their impression of war victim.

韓国系アメリカ人有権者センター(KAVC)は、2007年以降、議員を使うようになった。ロスマン下院議員、パスクレル下院議員（いずれも民主党ニュージャージー州選出）が韓国政府からの要請を受けて国際水路機関（ＩＨＯ） や米国地名委員会（ＵＳＢＧＮ）に「東海併記」要求を受け入れるよう書簡を送っている。
