Range of capacity 1 t - 125 t
KULI electric wire rope hoists representmore than eighty years
of experience inthe manufacture of hoists. They complywith the
German rules for preventionfrom accidents, DIN-standards, FEM-
regulations or EN/ISO-standards andmost of international
standards andregulations. From the outer appearanceof RS-series
hoists one can recognizethe compact design.
The modular construction with its onlyfew components permits
economical usein many applications.Electric brake motors and all
gearingare specifically designed for hoisting
duty and are manufactured in our worksunder our control, and are
subjected tostrict quality tests for safety and reliability.

The KULI electric hoist as foot mountedunit can be used in
almost all caseswhere loads, equipments and plantmachinery have to
be lifted or towed.The universal usability is even increasedby
possibility to turn the hoist in drumaxis direction to reach any
requiredrope pay-off position.

The standard headroom design for useon single girder cranes and
monorailsystems. On units of over10 tons capacityeight wheel
trolleys are used to minimisewheel loads and the thickness of
therunning flange.

The hoist motor is a parallel rotor, high torque squirrel
cagemachine specially rated for hoist duty, for either single
ordual speed lifting
Design features
Motor windings are to class F insulation, dust and dampproof
enclosure to IP 54, with temperature sensorsembedded in the motor
windings.
Overhoisting and overlowering safety limit switch is
incor-porated in a terminal box which also houses the
electronicbrake control
Long wearing and weatherproof DC disc brake
Compact epicyclic gearing, greased and sealed for life
Power equalising and load balancing gives even loads onall
planetary gears ensuring smooth, low friction operating
Gear rims, planetary wheels and pinions are made of highgrade
alloy steel, fully heat treated for high wear resistance
Fully machined rope drum is supported in high quality
ballbearings, greased and sealed for life
