Coloured directional indicators on the hoist unit match up with the hand control unit to ensure correct operation.Display provides essential information for the user, carer and engineer including: battery life, number of lifts, charging or maintenance reminders. Emergency stop feature - pulling down once on the red emergency cable will immediately stop all functions of the hoist. Emergency lowering feature- by pulling and holding down the red emergency cable, the patient will be lowered to the desired position. Manual wind down and raising- this feature is unique to freeway hoists and allows the hoist to continue to be used until the engineer arrives.Fire retardant cover completely encapsulates hoist.
