Every year when springtime arrives, many cities and towns in the Spanish southern region of Andalusia
celebrate what they call LA FERIA.
LA FERIA was born as a kettle fair over 150 years ago, it is nowadays a vibrant gathering of people drinking, eating and dancing dressed up in the flamenco style.
LA FERIA is a huge celebration in cities like Jerez, Córdoba, Granada or Seville, where every year 1.5 million visitors enjoy for one week round-the-clock feasting, drinking, flamenco dancing, bullfighting, and rowdy fun.
To cultivate Hong Kong with this Spanish cultural tradition, The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is holding the third edition of LA FERIA. This year, almost 20 exhibitors will offer more than 100 Spanish products to the public. We have prepared a comprehensive programme of activities that includes flamenco shows, cooking demo, lucky draws and many other surprises.
Fans of the Spanish culture would definitely enjoy this opportunity to immerse themselves in the heat of the Spanish FIESTA.
