The Alvento Business Park-

The first leed building in Europe was certified in Spain (Southern-Europe) in 2005. That is “The Alvento Business Park” project in Madrid.Two buildings of 355.000 sq.ft, seven story commercial office building development was developed by the developer Metrovacesa.Both buildings certified at LEED silver level.

BULGARIA…..

American Embassy building (Sofia) –

Located in Bulgaria in southeast Europe, sofia is oldest capitl cities in Europe.In march 2007 the US embassy in sofia became not only the 1st building in Bulgaria, but also 1st US embassy in the world to earn LEED certification.

Airport-center (Sofia) - Sofia Airport center will be an international standard working environment in a landscaped business park setting.The center will have 100,000 sq.m of class “A” offices22,000 sq.m of prime logistics space, and 250 room high quality

Hotel.The business park is immediately adjacent to Sofia International airport, which features a new International Terminal, and regular flights to cities throughout Europe.After completion Sofia Airport center will be a LEED certified project with 1800,000 sq.ft of exceptionally high quality office building.

ITALY…..

US Army barracks - The U.S. Army Garrison Vicenza (USAG-V) barracks complex in Vicenza, Italy recently became the first Department of Defense facility overseas to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED Silver rating with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Worldwide, it is also the first Army building and the second project managed by Naval Facilities Engineering Command to be LEED Silver certified by USGBC.

This award represents the great teamwork of “Clark Nexsen”, Architecture engineering planning and interior design firm.

Plesso Scolastico Loc. Romarzollo –

In Italy this is the only leed register project by the local government.The progect is for proposed School building of 45,430 sq.ft at Arco city

The school “Romarzollo plexus” comprises of one office area, the elementary school, gym, library lab, etc.and 1 meeting hall.

This registred leed rating system is Leed for Schools. The rating system is under in process .But soon this building will be the first Leed certified building by Local Government also first leed certified School in Italy

Garibaldi Repubblica- The Garibaldi-Repubblica project will redraw 35 hectares of urban territory, dividing it into three units: a fashion district, an office development and a tree library The most important component of the new Garibaldi Repubblica project, this new "stylists' city" is intended to be not only a fashion city, but a space offered by the city to fashion enterprises incorporating residential, commercial and service buildings.Office buildings will vary from 10 to 30 storeys high, in line with their surrounding context, and the residential buildings will vary from 3 to 8 floors.

Commercial spaces are distributed throughout the development, which will also include a 300 room hotel totalling 15 thousand square metresThis registred leed rating system is Leed CS. The rating system is under in process .But soon this building will be the Biggest Leed certified building in Italy Construction will take place between 2006 and 2009 and cost more than 680 million euros.

ENGLAND…..

Village Green Building - VillageGreen is the headquarters building of “Herman Miller International”, located in Chippenham, Wiltshire, UK. It was designed by international architectural firm Gensler and completed in January 2006.

The purposed of the building is to provide an efficient and dynamic working environment for employees, as well as excellent visitor facilities.

VillageGreen has been designed to achieve the highest certification for best practice in environmental design and management: BREEAM 'Excellent' award (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) and LEED Gold award (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, by the US Green Building Council).

NETHERLAND……

Rabobank group’s office - Rabobank Group’s (An agribusiness, banking, & Agri-finance company) headquarters in Utrecht, Netherland, is a building a new, highly sustainable office complex featuring sustainable materials, reduced energy consumption and flexible work environments. The robobank had also earning LEED Silver certification for its San -Francisco office in us.

POLAND……

Borgwarner Manufacturing Plant -

BorgWarner broke ground for a new production facility in Rzeszow, Poland, where it plans to produce an initial 500,000 turbochargers for European car makers beginning in 2009, with expansion in the next two years to produce up to two million units. The location in southeast Poland offers economic advantages and allows BorgWarner to serve vehicle manufacturers in both Western and Eastern Europe. The 244932 square-foot operation is expected to create about 200 jobs. This manufacturing plant registred leed rating system is Leed CS. The rating system is under in process .But soon this building will be the first Leed certified building in Poland

CZECH REPUBLIC …..

Csob Headquarters -

The new headquarters of Československá obchodní bank (ČSOB) bank located in Radlice, Prague 5, will apparently be the first building in the Czech Republic to earn the LEED Silver certification.

With more than 82,000 square meters of floor area, the company wanted to sho w that despite the building’s size, ČSOB attends to corporate social responsibility,

Also an industrial project of 4,80,000 sq.ft in “Hustopece” in Czech Republic had got leed certification. The project was register on 6/22/07.

PORTUGAL…..

Loureshopping - Sonae Sierra is the international shopping centre specialist, who are passionate Incorporat in Portugal.

In 1989, it is owned by Sonae, SGPS (Portugal) with 50% and Grosvenor (United Kingdom) with 50%. Loure shopping center was open on 25 October 2005 at Loures Portugal .

The total area of center is 38,986 sq.m and the registred leed rating system is Leed CS. The rating system is under in process .But soon this building will be the first Leed certified building in Portugal
