My company provided services to oil companies, title companies, law firms and private cliental, providing reports and abstracts in regards to due diligence, ownership, easements, judgments, liens, mortgages, water rights, air rights, leases and anything else of record. We also specialized in farm-ins and farm-outs, joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, swaps and also suggest and complete the curative process when necessary. Senior Title Examiner Paramount Field Services, LLC - (Jan. 2015 – May 2015) Write up and review title reports and abstracts, lease checks, locate missing owners, probates, curative, and track production in Oklahoma, on Indian Lands within the Caney Shale formation. Senior Title Examiner and Supervising Contractor Onshore Leasing Corp., Bakersfield, CA - (2010 – 2014) I was a Supervising Contractor for the Title department of Onshore Exploration Corporation’s Bakersfield office. Wrote up and reviewed Mineral Ownership Reports for leasing purposes. Searched the Official records and the probates of the counties we were doing title in, as well as the surrounding counties if applicable. Conducted lease checks for project areas. I searched through off record documentation, such as, Trust Agreements, Probates, Escrow Instructions, etc. I also cured title when it was necessary to take a lease. Title man/Title Researcher Southeastern Property Acquisitions, Inc., Bakersfield, CA - (2009 – 2011) Search documents of record to determine ownership of mineral rights before the leasing or drilling process. This includes drawing up chains of title, analyzing the documents of record, mapping out the property in question, and issuing a finalized report that will be used in the leasing process, which helps determine how much to pay the lessors based on their net mineral acres owned. This company also had me draw up deeds for mineral transfer.
