Fibroadenoma of the breast

It is a mixed proliferation ofepithelial and connective

tissue. The part in reddish-orange is the adiposetissue(it is stained by aspecial stain). The adenomais nodular, with clear border,capsulated, white and firm

because of the capsule. It ismobile and can be felt onpalpation. However there isno surface elevation. Itsmainly due to high estrogen
