Hin nay cng ngh WiMAX l mt trong nhng cng ngh bng rng khng
dy c nghin cu, th nghim v trin khai rng ri trn ton th gii cng nh
Vit Nam.
Vi tc truy cp ln ti 70Mbps trong bn knh ph sng 40km ca chun
WiMAX cnh, cng nh kh nng duy tr kt ni vi tc di chuyn ln ti
120km/h ca WiMAX di ng, cng ngh WiMAX ni chung ha hn s mang li
cuc cch mng thc s trong vic thay i cch thc truy cp Internet ca con
ngi trong vi nm ti.
Vic th nghim k thut v nghin cu cc yu t kinh t, x hi nh hng
bi WiMAX ang c cc doanh nghip kinh doanh hng u trong lnh vc vin
thng nc ta nh: VNPT, Viettel, VTC, FPT, EVN tin hnh i vi WiMAX c
nh t thng 03 nm 2006 v WiMAX di ng t 01 thng 10 nm 2007 chng
t vai tr quan trng ca WiMAX trong chin lc pht trin ca cc doanh nghip
cng nh li ch mang li cho ngi tiu dng khng chthnh th m cn ti tt

Vic nghin cu m hnh trin khai WiMAX cho hai khu vc thnh th v

Phm vi nghin cu v ni dung lun vn
Lun vn ny nghin cu mt cch tng quan nht v cng ngh WiMAX (C
di ng v cnh), m hnh ng dng v cc vn k thut cbn cn quan tm
khi tin hnh thit k, trin khai mng WiMAX vo thc t. Chng 4 ca lun vn
tp trung nghin cu v xy dng mt m hnh mu trin khai WiMAX v
nhng vng kh khn nht va l ca Vit Nam.

CHNG I: GII THIU V CNG NGH WIMAX
Chng 1 cung cp mt ci nhn bao qut nht chng ta c th nm c
khi nim mng khng dy bng rng, cng ngh WiMAX l g, c im chung,
mc ch v vai tr ca n so vi nhng cng ngh ang tn ti. Bn cnh
chng ny cn cp ti tnh hnh ng dng WiMAX trn th gii v th nghim
WiMAX ti Vit Nam tnh n thi im thng 10 nm 2007.
1.1 Khi nim v mng khng dy bng rng

1.2 Cng ngh WiMAX
1.2.1 WiMAX l g?
WiMAX l tn vit tt ca Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access.
WiMAX l mt cng ngh khng dy bng rng, h trnhiu dng truy nhp

WiMAX cho php truyn khng dy cc loi d liu, hnh nh, m thanh nhanh hn
c DSL hay cable, v tt nhin l nhanh hn nhiu ln cc cng ngh khng dy
hin hnh nh 802.11a hay 802.11b m khng yu cu iu kin truyn thng.
Phm vi bao ph ca WiMAX c th ln ti vi chc km vi tc ln nht l
70Mbps. Bng thng ca WiMAX cung cp ng thi hng trm thu bao T1hoc hng trm thu bao DSL.
Hin nay, vic trin khai cc mng cable, DSL c th rt tn thi gian v tn
km, v kt qu l mt s lng ln khch hng c nhu cu m khng c cung
cp dch v. WiMAX khc phc hn ch ny, n c kh nng cung cp dch v

1.2.2 Gii thiu cc chun IEEE 802.16
Chun IEEE 802.16 - 2001
Nhng c t ban u ca chun IEEE 802.16 nh ngha lp MAC v PHYc kh nng cung cp truy nhp bng rng khng dy cnh (Fixed Fixed Wireless
Access) theo m hnh im - im v im - a im. Chun IEEE 802.16 c

- Qu trnh mc ni: Nhiu MAC PDU c thc kt hp vi nhau vo mt
phin truyn ( PDU d liu, PDU yu cu bng thng,). Qu trnh ny c

- Qu trnh phn mnh: Qu trnh ny chia mt MAC SDU c kch thc ln
thnh nhiu MAC PDU c kch thc hp l hn. Qu trnh ny c s

Sau khi quyt nh trn knh no, SS c gng th ng b ho s truyn
ng xung do pht hin ra cc on u khung theo chu k (periodic frame
