Welcome to the Class of 2014 Student Year Book.Welcome to the Class of 2014 Student Year Book. I would like to start off by acknowledging the hard workof Mrs Keally Baldwin and Mrs Cath Powell in producing this year book.

This book will help you remember some of the people who have, over the last five years become your friendsand have been there for you when you needed them most. You will be reminded of the times that you havespent together, laughed together and supported each other. In many ways this book ought to be called afriendship book and not a year book.

However, the reality of moving on in life is that many of the friendships that you make whilst being at schoolwill diminish and you will lose touch as the years progress. This book will help you to remember and hopefullymaintain some of the friendships that you have developed over the last five years.

When I think back to my own school days the things I remember most are the people that I was most closeto and some of the teachers that had a real impact on the future direction that my life took. I look back withfond memories at key events, which for me tended to revolve around sport, which have left a lasting memoryand remind me of how much I enjoyed my time at school. I hope that this book serves to remind you of thoseaspects of school life that mean a lot to you.

As you move on from Clifton and start the next chapter in your lives, I would encourage you all to continuelearning and developing the skills that will help you in your future lives. Whatever your destination, both inthe short term and long term, it is my sincere wish that you find success and happiness in all that you do.

One final farewell.

Firstly, it’s unreal to me that you are all leaving, It seems like

yesterday when I walked into the music room and you were

all sat listening to Miss Jackman on your first day at Clifton.

Now you’ve all grown into young adults. We have all been

together for the last 5 years, we’ve had some new faces join

us and some have left, both pupils and form tutors!!. I am

so proud to have been your form tutor and you have been a

fantastic group of individuals.

Over the years you have all been through all the different

emotions, laughter, tears and smiles. We’ve been on this

rollercoaster of a ride through Clifton together and I am

sure you wouldn’t change anything. All the experiences

have made you the person you are today. For me, it has

been very interesting to watch you all grow up, you

began so innocent, your conversations would centre

around your friends and school like. Few years into

school and the girls would be gossiping about boys and dating.

The boys however were stuck on football for a while and this

fuelled many discussions about positions and tactics on the pitch.

It has also been interesting to watch how people formed their own

friendship groups within the form. At the front left we would

have Celene, Karina, Sophie and Brooke. Front middle would be

Sumbal, Hafsa, Anisha, Anis, Suman and Sanah. On the right we

would have Callum and Adam. Just behind the boys we would

have Storm, Shazia, Jade and Niamph. Finally, centre back we

would have our football team, Kirk, Ebrima, Matthew, Daniel,

Ricky and Asad. You have been fantastic together, all of you have

stood by each other and given support when needed. Yes we’ve

fallen out at times, had arguments but you have all remained

close friends and stood by each other.

Finally, I will miss you all so much. I wish you all the success and

happiness for the future. I hope you all achieve your dreams and

aspirations. It has been a pleasure to be your form tutor for the

last 5 years and to watch you all become the young adults you

are today. I am sure you will all keep in touch and don’t forget

to keep me posted with how you are all getting on. Remember

to keep in touch with each other. Never forget, we will always be
